For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Good afternoon everyone! Well, we are entering the last week of May and we still don’t have any leaves on our trees. Quite amazing really. However, other signs of spring have begun to grow, like dandelions and wild strawberry flowers. I will show pics of those today.
Dandelions are about 3 weeks later than normal, and that means that hummingbirds are also very late in returning from the south. They rely a lot on dandelions for their nourishment when they first come back.

It is a mostly sunny day here, and warmer than yesterday, with a temperature of 61F (16C), though the temperature will likely climb a little more yet today. Tomorrow we begin summer with a temperature of about 83F (28C). Maybe.

I hope you all have a great week and God bless!

Hello everyone! Well, it’s a cool, cloudy and rainy day here, certainly a change from our warmer days we enjoyed. However, the warmer weather is set to return on Monday, and I hope the forecast is right. We need some warm days to get those leaves popping out on the trees. There is a slight bit of color showing on some of the trees, but certainly not very much. But, everything is late this year.
Anyway, here is another bird seen around the building here. They have a beautiful song and love to sing a lot. Personally I think they are also a beautiful bird, though some people don’t agree.

White-throated Sparrow.
Hope you are having a wonderful weekend everyone and God bless!
