Good morning and Happy Friday to all of you! It is a wet morning here and has been raining steadily for the last 3 hours. The birds are looking rather wet now as they try to get their breakfast. Two squirrels were here early before the rain began, Chase and Freddie, I have not seen any since the rain started. Skamper, one of the chipmunks, was here just as the rain started and he kept coming until the peanuts were gone.

There is also a very strong north wind this morning which is causing our temperature to drop. It was 45F (7C) earlier, but has now begun dropping and should be down to 37F (3C) by this afternoon. Kind of cold for this late in May. We might also get some wet snow this afternoon but it will melt as it hits the ground. So it looks like it will be a good day to stay indoors and do some cleaning. Fun. Muffin will not be too happy when the vacuum comes out. But it must be done.

My old printer was giving me so many problems that I decided to buy a new one. Somehow I am not so sure that is going to help. Perhaps once I get it hooked up and running it will be fine. I might not be, but it should be. Technology and I, as I have mentioned before, just do not get along. I say the problem is the technology. Some say the problem is me. But before I could just plug a new printer into my laptop with a USB cable and it would set itself up.

Now I cannot us the cable, it must be setup with wifi. Plus an app to go along with the printer. Plus the online operating manual. And it will not work at all without the wifi even if I use the USB cable. Then why use the cable? So that will be my project for this morning. Hopefully without banging my head on the desk. And hopefully without using my entire morning. That will likely be impossible.

I imagine most people could get this done in about 5 minutes. That means a minimum of 2 hours for me. Sigh. I will not be getting rid of my old printer just yet. Cleaning is sounding more fun all the time. I just put out more food for the birds. It is cold out there. And raining lightly. Blue jays prevail in the photos for today. I have not shown them for a while and these are new, recent pics from the last couple of days. Have a fabulous Friday everyone and God bless!
