Muffin’s Weekly Mewsings #1.
Hi everyone! My name Muffin and I’m here to share some fun and info with you all. My human first say we do this once a month and I say, hey, not fair, you have yours every day and me only once a month. Then he say we call it Muffin’s Weekly Mewsings. Oh that good, I like that! Then he say we do it twice a month. I say, hey, I can read, ‘weekly’ mean once a week, not twice a month. So I say, how you like to have sore feet? So now it is once a week! Yay! I happy now. I hope you will like my mewsings. We have some fun, that for sure.
The other day my human he walking in kitchen and he kick bag of potatoes that sitting on floor. Bag of potatoes go sliding across floor so he must have kicked hard. Then he start dancing on one leg while holding his other foot and doing his beautiful human purring again. You know, the one he call groaning! He look so funny hopping on one leg. Then he put down foot and bend over at same time so he bang head on counter! Now he holding head and purring even more and then he back up and hit back on corner of fridge and he go OOOOOOOOOO and his eyes get real big and bulging! Oh what a funny face he make! That really get me laughing and I roll on floor kicking legs in air and getting sore tummy from laughing so much!
My human, he just so much fun, every day he do things just to make me laugh! I never thought I would get a human like him, this is just great. Of course, there are times he do strange things. Like when he walking past me one day and he step on my tail! I could not believe he do that, but he did. He say it just accident. How it be accident, easy to see my tail, what he think it was, snake?! So I bite foot. Now he get point, it was bare foot too, he really feel that. And such a look on his face too! Hahahahaha! We have such fun together. Well, that all for today, I back again next week, bye for now!

Morning Coffee At Steve’s Country #1.
Good morning to everyone! Time to grab a coffee, sit back and relax for a few minutes! As I mentioned yesterday, my Daily Pics has been replaced and the new name reflects better what this daily post is all about. Just a time to relax and talk a bit about our day. The pics will still be here each day too and we will meet all our outdoor friends as well. Today I just want to introduce some other changes coming up, or maybe it would be better to say, ‘new additions’ to our daily life here at Steve’s Country. Muffin will be back with her “Mewsings” which will be starting today, but I will let her talk about that later. “Art In Nature” will be here once more, though it was called Nature’s Art previously. This will be a weekly feature for the winter months and I may even keep it going year round this time.
A new feature will be “Our Outdoor Friends” where I will introduce, in slightly greater detail, the various critters that visit us around here. This one may only be twice a month, I’m not quite sure yet. Basically I will be having 2 posts each day, at least for the winter months. Normally I would begin new changes in January, but I decided to start them in December this year. There will be another post where we will look at antiques and collectables as well. I’m not sure what to call that post yet, but in the first couple we will look at old board games. Since Christmas is coming up, old games and toys just fit in quite nicely.
Our last mystery story of the year will be starting tomorrow and will continue to be on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I’m not quite sure if I will continue with these stories next year or not. Well, for our pics today we have two of our winter visitors, a nice red male purple finch and the female purple finch.
