For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Things were winding down now, we had heard back from the police on the mainland about the arrests and death of Adamson at the hands of Tina. I think he created this monster out of Tina and finally died at the hands of his creation. That young girl doesn’t have much of a chance in life, she will likely be a hardened criminal for her entire life, however long that might be.
Since danger was now over, at least we thought it was anyway, we decided it was time to relax a bit. Strangely enough none of us thought about Summer’s aunt and uncle. They had quietly disappeared when they first arrived and with so many people involved in this case, we just completely forgot about them.
Even Summer, who was terrified to learn they had come with Adamson, had forgotten about them too. I still left Dawn, Cynthia, Colette and Tracy in the room for protection while the rest of us were down at the docks talking with the police. Oh yes, Irene was also in the room with Summer and the girls. She needed to stay out of sight for now or she might be arrested by the police.
But, none of the ghosts were in the room, though some of the cats were there too. And they could call us if necessary. Somehow we didn’t notice the police going into the hotel and they immediately went up to our room, knocking on the door. Tracy allowed them to come in since we all knew they were real police now.
However, Tracy wasn’t thinking about Irene and the possibility she might be arrested. However, the reason for their visit was to pick up Summer. Her aunt and uncle were there with legal papers showing they were Summer’s legal guardians until she turned 20, a rather odd age.
Dawn tried to call me but I didn’t answer. So she tried calling Jennifer, but she also did not answer. The other girls tried to call as well, but without success, so the cats tried to call too, but again, there was no answer from us. This worried the girls and just then one of the officers recognized Irene so she was arrested and the main officer said to hand Summer over to them or all of them would be arrested.
“No, don’t let them take me, please!” yelled Summer. Dawn turned to reassure Summer, but the police noticed the Bad Girls logo on the back of her T-shirt, and the gun in her back holster. The police had their guns out quickly and told the girls to put their guns on the bed and soon the girls were handcuffed and Summer was handed over to her uncle and off they went.
Once in the hallway her uncle hit her twice on the face, then punched her in the stomach and told her not to say anything. Then they left down the stairs. But as they walked past the next room where Kat was working on Astrid, Rascal went to the door and growled. Angel was in there as a guard and made sure she was ready in case someone came through that door, but no one did.
Meowrrr= Human young Summer go past door. Angel went to check, but no one was there. Meanwhile, back to us on the docks looking out on a calm ocean before us. I looked at Jennifer. “What’s wrong, you’re frowning?” I asked her. “I sense danger, but can’t place it,” she said, “something is wrong though and it doesn’t seem to be far away either.”
I tried to contact Dawn, then Tracy, but no answer. I grabbed Jennifer’s hand and we disappeared, reappearing in our room, which was now empty except for the cats. Meow, meow!= Human police come and air and rest everyone! Give human Summer girl to bad uncle who have loco papers to take her away with!
“Sky,” I said and she appeared. She looked around. “Where is everyone?” she asked, so I quickly filled her in on what apparently happened. “Hey, they can’t do that with my Bad Girls!” exclaimed Sky. “First we need to find Summer,” I said, “could you call Cristy for me?” “Cristy,” said Sky. “Hey, what’s going on over there?” she asked, “I can’t get hold of anyone, except Dawn before, and she disappeared.”
“Cristy,” I said, “I need you to find Summer for me.” “Hey, how come you didn’t call me yourself?” she asked. “For some reason our communicators are being jammed,” I told her, “now, Summer, please.” “Already found her,” said Cristy, “right up the hill from Miss Hanson’s place. Maybe a secret hideout or something.” “Um, could you find Misty for me too?” I asked.
“Yep, looks like she’s sleeping, or something,” she said, “want me to wake her up?” “That would be nice,” I said, “we are under attack and on the losing end right now.” “Oh,” she said, “what? Attack?! Losing?!” There was a knocking at the door. Misty was there so I let her in, along with Melanie, Alizea, Sigrid and Crystal.
“What’s this about being attacked?” asked Misty, “and how come we’re losing?” “Because some of you are sleeping,” I said, “and we have lost Dawn, Cynthia, Colette and Tracy, plus Summer and Irene. So we are not doing well at the moment. However, that is my fault, not yours, or anyone else. Where is Kitty, she should be with you?”
“Um, sleeping with some of the other Bad Girls,” said Misty. There was knocking at the door again and it was Kitty this time. “Kitty, replace Angel and send her here please,” I said, “this is now a Code Red, so please stay alert.” Off she went and Angel came running over quickly. I explained the situation and told them we needed to find Summer first of all, since we know that Irene is in jail.
I sent Aari and his boys over to keep an eye on the police station, to make sure no one went inside that shouldn’t. Then I called him back and told him a slightly different plan. I then took the girls I had and left the remaining Bad Girls to guard everyone at the hotel, including our newly acquired loot. I had asked Cristy to contact Rossana to see if she can get our Bad Girls out of jail.
However, Cristy was told that Rossana had been seriously injured in a shootout with some armed criminals they had been tracking and she was in the hospital. So, Cristy turned to Sienna who got her lawyers on it right away. Meanwhile, we were closing in on a possible hideout location, but…

Hi everyone! I hope you are having a fantastic day where you live! It is quite nice here, partly sunny with fluffy clouds hanging around here and there. We might get some showers, or even thunderstorms, later this afternoon or evening. But right now it is beautiful.

This White-Tailed deer doe became quite friendly with me.
I think I will go out on the balcony and repot a couple of my indoor plants. It’s a great place to do it, keeps all mess out on the balcony where I can sweep it up easily, and I don’t need to worry about doing it right away.

This White-Tailed deer buck I named Junior and he was also very friendly. He is an offspring of the doe above.
Of course the temperature needs to be just right so I don’t shock the plants, so today is good. It’s also humid which helps as well. Anyway, here is another of my favorite photos to share with you. Have a great day everyone and God bless!
Steve and Muffin.
