For a smile as wide as a country sunrise

There he goes right up the tree,
Climbing fast and running free.
Just watch him go, to the top,
Little squirrel, never stop.
Down he comes so very fast,
Jumps in the snow, at the last.
In the snow he likes to play,
Watch him now show off today!
Soon he’s back up in the tree,
Branch to branch he jumps quickly.
Moving fast, yet does not miss,
It’s quite something watching this.
Down again, right in the snow,
Jumping wild, just watch him go!

Good morning and Happy Sunday everyone! Here we are at the start of another week. Another week of inspiration. Another week of goals to reach. Another week of anticipation. Another week of appreciation. Another week with so much beauty, so many smiles to share, so much sunshine to enjoy. And always remember, that even on cloudy days, the sun still shines. Clouds are actually very necessary for us, to help us grow stronger, to help us stand firm. But the sun is still there shining brightly. In reality it brings us the clouds and is there to bring that joy as the clouds move out of the way until they are needed again.
Whether sunny or cloudy where you are today, here is a little extra sunshine to enjoy…

Here is one of our wildflowers, the crown vetch, one of several different species of vetch in our area.
And here we have the cow vetch, a slightly more common vetch in this area, also smaller and not quite as showy.
Oops, how did this one get in here? Oh well, a bonus for today. The white flowers are Labrador tea and the lavender/pink flowers are pale laurel. Both of these flowers love wet areas, swamps, anywhere with plenty of water.
Well, that’s our wildflowers for today, I hope you have enjoyed this selection. Have a wonderful Sunday and God bless!
Steve and Muffin.
