For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Here we have another day,
A time to smile all the way.
We should always try to smile
Wide, like a country mile.
Since it’s free, then why not smile?
It is always right in style.
Pleasure it does always share,
So use it much, everywhere.
Others too will catch your smile,
And spread it ’round, all the while
This our smile we will not lose,
So smiling much we should choose.

Good morning everyone on this very mild Sunday! Amazing really, it just doesn’t feel like winter right now. We had such cold weather, then yesterday most of our snow melted. Not that we had much anyway. Very odd start to winter. But the really odd part is the lack of birds this winter. There is just not many birds around. But more on that another time. I was out visiting with the chickadees this afternoon. It is such a joy standing there while the chickadees take turns coming to my hand and picking up their sunflower seeds. They could go to the feeder, but instead come to my hand. However, on to today’s pics…
This is a beautiful blue flower, but I have no idea what it is unfortunately.
And here we have a smaller than normal lily, but again, I don’t know the name. Sigh. But both of these flowers are certainly nice and bright for these many cloudy days we have had lately. They help provide just a bit of sunshine, which is always a nice thing.
I hope you all have a sunny Sunday and God bless!
