It’s that time of year to start remembering warmer days, so this poem came to mind. I hope you will enjoy it.
Summer Thoughts
I love the green against the sky,
Such calming beauty, that is why.
Emerald leaves and sky so blue,
A wondrous sight, and that is true.
Trees, full of little birds that sing,
Lively chorus of joy they bring.
Early morning till late at night,
Music so calming and so bright.
Beneath this canopy of green,
Butterfly wings complete this scene.
So many kinds and colors free,
Give such beauty to you and me.
Flowers growing in shade and light,
Help to relax from morn to night.
All this under the brightest blue,
Awesome beauty for all, not few.

Friday’s Pictures #2.
Well, here we are with our second Friday’s Pictures. Once again I decided to go with a variety instead of sticking with a particular theme. Looking at nature pictures helps us to see that not everything in this world is negative, even though we are often led to believe it is that way. So sit back, relax and enjoy!
Starting off with our beautiful moon.
Above we have Bert, one of my 10 blue jays that come each day for peanuts.
Above we have our little squirrel hauling away walnuts. Still not sure how she manages to carry them.
The joys of summer with flowers, like these hollyhocks, and bees to go with them.
