About the Blogger Recognition Award
The Blogger Recognition Award is an award given in recognition of all the hard work that goes into creating a blog. It is a way for bloggers to support, motivate and promote other bloggers who have clearly put in huge amounts of time and effort, and produced valuable content.
Bloggers are very talented people – they work hard, they promote, market, advertise, run a busy site.
They organise all kinds of activities, they encourage, motivate, interact, engage and are community orientated. It matters not if they are shy and reticent or loud and personable – each actively progressive blogger is the same – they all work hard and passionately with their blogs, they put the hours in to deliver to their audience each day a welcoming location to read, absorb, learn and have fun.
To escape the hustle bustles of city life, or the begrudgeries of boredom – they entice readers to peruse their pages to look for entertainment.
That is what the BRA celebrates.

HOW MY BLOG GOT STARTED:
Well, let’s see, I started my blog and here I am today. That was easy. Meow. What do you mean ‘no’? Meow, meow, meow. Hey, who’s writing this anyway? Why does it have to be longer? Why details? Why…MEOW, MEOW!!! Okay, okay, a little longer it is. Sigh. Well, I started this blog exactly 2 years ago, sort of, though my first official post was a week later. Why was that? Because I had no idea what I was doing. Sometimes I think I still don’t know what I’m doing. (meow, meow) I heard that. Laughing at me behind my back right beside me. Not nice.
I started because I like to write, especially humorous things or topics about nature. But this year I have branched out a bit and written on many different topics especially when collaborating with my good friend Ilona. I have really enjoyed the journey and especially meeting people from all over the world and making so many new friends along the way. And that really has been the most enjoyable part of this blogging journey. It was actually some friends that initially encouraged me to start a blog and though I was a bit nervous at the beginning, I am certainly glad that I took on the challenge.
TWO PIECES OF ADVICE FOR NEW BLOGGERS:
1. Keep it simple, especially at the beginning and write about things you enjoy or topics about which you have some knowledge. Don’t try to get too technical or in depth except maybe now and then if the topic requires it.
2. Interact with your followers and with people you follow. It is terrible to leave a comment and never getting a reply, not even a like.

A Different 3-2-1 Quote Me.
Hi everyone! This one is a little different in that it’s also called a chain-letter 3-2-1 Quote Me challenge or tag. Anyway, I was nominated for this by my friend in Norway, Lillian over at https://orkidatter.com and she has a wonderful site with fantastic original artwork and many wonderful poems plus more! If you haven’t checked her site then you should, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed. Thank you so very much Lillian for this nomination and sorry it has taken so long to get it done!
The rules for this “chain-letter” are quite simple:
1. Thank the selector
2. Post two quotations for the dedicated “Topic of the Day” (in this case, “happiness”)
3. Select three bloggers to take part in “3-2-1 Quote Me!”
So now I’m supposed to nominate a bunch of bloggers for this, hmm, one of these times I should read the rules on these things. 🤔 But, hey, Muffin wanted the chipmunk on there. 😼 What could I do? At least my feet are happy. Even though I messed up the rules a bit. I’m a terrible person.😂
