For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
When Medina, or Danielle as she is called at her company office, returned to work that morning, she discovered that many of her employees had resigned, or just quit and went home. That included the woman receptionist who didn’t want to hang around in case that gang returned with real guns. So, Medina’s day didn’t start out very well for her. Then they told her about the problems with the computers.
All that showed up was a cat’s head that welcomed them to the Beautiful World of Cats, which included showing different cat breeds plus wild species of cats and in between that, this cat’s head would tell cat jokes and would do a lot of laughing. It also said “Hi Medina, so nice to meow with you today”, then it would laugh and laugh.
That made Medina go absolutely crazy and she went around yelling and screaming at people to get those computers fixed or they would be fired. This fun had all of our girls laughing non stop. We could see and hear all that went on in that building since the girls had planted cameras all over the place. Meanwhile Dawn had gone to get me more coffee and a fresh donut. There was still 3 other girls in the room and four cats, so I was well guarded.
Angel was downstairs helping make the donuts, Jennifer, Misty and some of the girls had gone to town for a bit of shopping. I told Jennifer to go along saying it would be good for her to get out for a while. I was feeling rather tired so decided to lie down again, but as I was walking over to the bed everything went dark and I fell to the floor. When I opened my eyes I was in the small clinic room downstairs with Samantha looking at me.
“What is wrong with me?” I asked. “It would take me a long time to answer that question,” she said smiling, “however, as for the present ailment, I have no idea. You seem to be in good health, yet you fainted for no reason. Too much worrying perhaps, you do worry a lot and that is not good for your heart. But your heart seems fine right now.” “Did you contact Jennifer?” I asked.
“I would have if you didn’t wake up quickly enough,” she said, “she will probably be angry with me for not telling her though.” Muffin was lying on one side of me purring, Snow on the other side. In about 30 minutes I was back in my own bed with Beryan massaging my back. Jennifer and the girls returned in time for lunch and after we had tea and donuts in the living room.
“I sense trouble,” I told the others. “Yes, so do I,” said Jennifer, “back to the bedroom Steve!” But, once in the bedroom I collapsed again and ended up in bed. I opened my eyes to see Samantha looking at me again. “You had a bad heart attack,” she said. Muffin, Snow and Jewel were with me, purring. I closed my eyes again and suddenly Sky and Kat appeared beside the bed.
“I can’t help him, Kat,” said Samantha, “perhaps you can.” Angel took Sky aside. “I think Steve was hit with one of those laser weapons from across the road,” she told Sky. “Let’s check it out,” said Sky. They disappeared, reappearing across the road. They could walk through the trees silently, unlike the men that were hiding over there. The ghosts spotted what looked like some kind of laser weapon, and 8 men, one watching the house. But how did they find us? Do we still have a traitor among us?
That would seem like the only possibility, unless they somehow put trackers on us or on something we brought with us. “Time to stop playing nicely,” said Sky. “I agree,” said Angel and she took a big jump, landing among the men as a huge lion. Some tried to run but Sky stopped them with bolts of electricity. It only took a couple of minutes and all 8 men were dead.
They brought the men’s phones back and that laser weapon. Angel and Jennifer went back to search around for more clues and to see if they had a vehicle hidden somewhere. They did find a van, which was rented, so they got some of the girls to help put the men’s bodies inside and Jennifer drove it back to town to the rental agency.
The owner saw it drive up and went outside, but no one came out of the van, even though the driver’s door opened. He looked inside and saw the dead men so he called the police right away. But they had told the owner of the rental agency that they were going to visit some friends down a totally different road, so that helped us.
A couple of the girls picked up Jennifer and Angel in their car a short distance away and they were soon back home. It seems Medina’s men have been following us through our communicators that we use to talk with each other. Sky called the Bad Girls to tell them and they told the Wildcats. But, all was not lost, they decided to use them as a trap for Medina’s men.
Hopefully it will work. “Louis, those terrible creatures have all gathered together in that small park not far from here,” said Medina, “get your men together and go after them. And this time do what I said before, kill them!!” So, Louis got his men together and off they went. Sure enough, when they got to the park the Bad Girls were sitting in an area with several benches and behind them was an area thickly overgrown with small spruce trees.
In among those spruce trees the Wildcats were hiding. Louis and his men came driving along in vans and suddenly came to a stop in front of the Bad Girls. The men jumped out of the van with their guns ready, but they found that their guns didn’t work. Then Sky and Angel (as her huge lion) appeared in front of the men. “Now you will feel the wrath of the Wildcats and the Bad Girls!” yelled Sky.
The Wildcats appeared and began shooting, as did the the Bad Girls. Angel attacked too, killing some men and trapping Louis alive. Sky used her electrical talents to prevent the vans from working. They kept Louis alive so they could send him back to Medina with a message. He arrived back at her penthouse suite at the insurance building.
“Well, did you get them?” she asked. “Everyone was killed,” he said. “Perfect!” she said, laughing with joy. “No, no,” said Louis, “I meant everyone on our side was killed, except me. They gave me a message for you. They said if you don’t give yourself up to them then they will come and get you. If that happens you will be killed for all the murders you committed.
If you give up, they will hand you over to the police where you will end up in prison the rest of your life.” She laughed hysterically at such a ridiculous idea. It was now 5pm and suddenly the sound of meowing cats could be heard all over Medina’s suite. “Let’s get out of here!” she screamed.
But it went dark as the electricity was cut off again, and the elevator would not work. After a few minutes the meowing stopped which made Medina feel better so her and Louis went and sat down after Louis lit some candles. Then Sky came in from the hallway with her big lion beside her…

Medina had gone back to sleep after her first encounter with Kat, the headless ghost. She figured it must have been a dream, so it was easy for her to sleep again. Now the time is exactly 1am, the lights are back on and something hit Medina to wake her up. She opened her eyes and saw Rusty sitting on the bed next to her, by her waist.
“Go away you miserable creature,” she said, “I hate cats! How did you get in here anyway?” “I came with my human ghost,” he said very clearly, something that shocked Medina. Rusty then began walking up toward her head. Medina tried to hit him but she couldn’t move her arms or legs. She then screamed for help and the headless woman returned.
“There is no point screaming for help,” said Kat, “no one can hear you.” Then another cat jumped onto the bed from Kat’s shoulder. Then another headless woman appeared and two more cats jumped onto the bed from her shoulders. Medina kept screaming for help. We had found out that she is utterly terrified of cats, so using the cats was perfect. “She is very loud with her screaming,” said Azura, Sky’s cat.
“Yes, it is hard on our ears,” said Midnight. The cats jumped back onto the girls shoulders and all disappeared. Then Louis and a couple security men came rushing into the room. “What’s going on?” asked Louis. “What took you so long?” she yelled, “I have been screaming for 15 minutes!” “We just heard you now,” said Louis, “that’s the honest truth.”
Medina then discovered she could move again and she wanted 4 security people in her room for the rest of the night. But, nothing else happened to her, though she did not get much sleep anyway. Morning arrived and she felt better, thinking that she just had some horrible nightmares. “It’s the fault of that terrible little witch Rochelle!” she exclaimed, “I want her dead Louis, dead! Hunt her down, she must be close by, get men out looking for her and her friends.
Drive up and down streets, check hotels that are close, they won’t be far away. I want her dead Louis, and her friends as well, they will regret doing this to me!” Louis was off quickly and hired a bunch of guys he knew from a smaller gang to help him find those girls. He gave photos to each of the guys and they split into 3 groups to cover more area quickly.
Amerie and Katresa smiled as they watched this unfold, then they called the others to tell them what was happening. That was their cue to begin Phase 2 of this operation. After Medina’s building was open Sky’s Bad Girls went into action, walking into the building with their new jackets that clearly identified the girls. The receptionist called for security right away.
“You better leave,” she said, “I have called security and they will be right here.” Crystal then pulled out her gun and pointed it at the receptionist. “Does Medina pay you enough that you are willing to die for her?” she asked. The receptionist began pleading for her life saying she was married with 3 kids. “You are not so arrogant anymore, I see,” said Crystal.
Just then 2 security men came from one direction, and four more from another direction. All of the Bad Girls took their guns out now and shot each of the security guards. Then they shot several other people around them that had been yelling at them. Half the Bad Girls then went running down the hall, past the elevators and directly to the security room.
Sky unlocked the door and in they went, shooting everyone in the room. It should be said here that the Bad Girls were not using bullets, but our sleeping darts, which would keep everyone sleeping for about an hour, more time then they needed. Cynthia went to work on the computer system, quickly downloading information that we wanted, then she left them a little surprise.
Meanwhile Sky took some of the other girls up to Medina’s suite where they also left a little surprise for Medina. What we wanted to do with this ‘surprise attack’ was to let Medina know we could move in and destroy her with just a few of our girls. From our end we sent information to all of her best customers to let them know her company was on the verge of total collapse and bankruptcy.
We also discovered, through information sent by Cynthia, that Medina owned numerous companies, stores, restaurants and hotels, along with insurance companies and apartment buildings in Canada and the US., though mostly her little empire was in Canada. She was wanted by the police in many US states which is why she liked to stay in Canada with her new identity. Someone from her insurance company building finally got in touch with Medina and told her what was going on.
Medina in turn called Louis and told him to get over there, so he and his group, plus the gang he hired hurried over to the building just as the Bad Girls were leaving. Louis wanted to take them alive so he and his men rushed at the girls. There was 30 of them so he figured this would be easy since he did not think they would risk shooting at them with all the cars and pedestrians around. It was a very busy morning. But, Louis wasn’t counting on Sky and Kat being able to do more than just fight.
As the men got close Kat moved with amazing speed in fighting while Sky used her electrical talents to literally paralyze men so the Bad Girls could have an easy time knocking them out. After all, they didn’t want to hang around any longer than necessary. The whole fight lasted just a few minutes, then the girls left before the police arrived.
They went back to their hotels, changed their clothes, took off their wigs and false glasses and they all looked totally different once more. So far the Wildcats have not had their turn, but that will change when Phase 3 of our plan begins. Medina wanted to keep track of her companies at all times, so she had their computers all connected.
That meant Cynthia’s little surprise would hit all the computers in all of Medina’s companies and that would effectively shut them all down for a while. How long they stay shut down will depend on her computer experts. We are ready to shut them down again, only next time it won’t be so easy for them to deal with.
I’m hoping we can make Medina run from the safety of her little refuge, but she might be smart enough to stay put. We shall see what happens next…
