For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Hi everyone! It was such a beautiful day on Monday, sunny, not much wind, fairly warm. A good day to be out and about taking photos, which is what I was doing all morning. Kind of wore me out though, but it was worth it. Even though a couple of dragonflies, a damselfly and a butterfly got away from me. Sigh.
A few warblers also got away from me. But that is normal anyway. Still, it was a great day. I did get another damselfly and some other insect I have not been able to identify yet. Also a couple different mushrooms which I have not tried to identify yet, but I will try later. It was nice sitting beside one of the lakes with a cup of coffee and just enjoying the view.

The first lake on our stop, actually it is just a small bay of the lake.
And it was a fabulous view. A few other people were at that lake enjoying the area as well. There certainly was a lot of birdlife around at each of the lakes we stopped at. My friend drove me out to these places, something we do 3 times each summer. Oddly, I never saw or even heard any loons at these lakes. Normally each of these lakes would have a pair of loons nesting on them. That part is not good.

There were a few wild roses at this spot.
Yesterday the weather was very different. It was cloudy, very windy, rainy and much cooler than Monday. Yesterday would not have been a good day for such a trip, so we definitely picked the right day. I love sitting beside a lake, having a picnic, or just drinking some coffee. And listening to the birds. Watching the gulls flying overhead. Those pure white wings with black wing tips against that brilliant blue sky. Just beautiful.

A little Red Squirrel greeted us.
I wonder what Sir George, Lady Pearl, Sir Henry and Lady Patricia are doing these days. I can imagine Sir Henry spending a lot of time standing on the railing around that deck, waiting for some food. The new tenant is not interested in trying to feed any of the birds or other critters over there.

Another part of the shoreline.
Now if they could just find me over here. However, that security netting would stop them from visiting me anyway. And there does not seem to be any friendly types looking for handouts around here anyway. Oh well. That is about all for today. Have a great day and God bless!

Hi ho everyone!😺 I back again with more fun funnies for my friends! It nice sunny morning. It cloudy cool morning. It nice sunny morning. It cloudy cool morning. It nice sunny morning. Sigh. Morning not can decide what to do. It change mind very fast and lots today. Right now it sunny again and look maybe like it might stay that way. Maybe. I want to go on balcony today so it need to be sunny and warm. Yesterday it cloudy and cool and windy and rainy. Not nice balcony weather.
Balcony is outside room. It nice place to lie in the sun. Not much else to do out there except to look at top of people’s heads. Not very interesting. Can watch little cars go by. One man wear hat but wind blow hat off head so he have to chase hat. He run fast but hat in lead then make quick turn onto street and car run over hat. Man then catch hat, but hat flat now. He throw hat on ground, then pick up and try to make hat not flat and put back on head. Human people funny sometimes.😹 Here is funnies…

A little girl asked her mother, “Can I go outside and play with the boys?”
Her mother replied, “No, you can’t play with the boys, they’re too rough.”Â
The little girl thought about it for a few moments and asked, “If I find a smooth one, can I play with him?”

The difference between in-laws and outlaws is that at least outlaws are wanted.
======
A certain little girl, when asked her name, would reply, “I’m Mr. Sugarbrown’s daughter.” Her mother told her this was wrong, she must say, “I’m Jane Sugarbrown.”
The pastor spoke to her in Sunday School, and said, “Aren’t you Mr. Sugarbrown’s daughter?” Â
She replied, “I thought I was, but mother says I’m not.”

Just saw on the news where the world champion tongue-twister was arrested. I hope they give the guy a tough sentence.
======
“I thought I told you to keep an eye on your cousin,” the mother said. “Where is he?”
“Well,” her son replied thoughtfully, “if he knows as much about canoeing as he thinks he does, he’s out canoeing. If he knows as little as I think he does, he’s out swimming.”
======
I see people about my age mountain climbing; I feel good getting my leg through my underwear without losing my balance.
======
That all for today, I hope you all have very nice day!
