Hi, hi everyone!😻 I so excited today! Why am I so excited? Look at number of post today…next funnies post will be number 100! I so excited. My human going to give me surprise gift for making it to number 100. I can hardly wait for it. I go looking all over to see if I can find it, but I not finding it anywhere at all. I ask where he hide it, but he say he not can tell me because it wouldn’t be surprise if he did. I say that okay, then he can get me something else for surprise and use this gift for surprise today. But he say there nothing special today. I tell him, that why it would be such big surprise!😹 He not agree.🙄 Sigh. Anyway, here is funnies for today…

Sunday’s Sunshine! #2
Hello everyone and Happy Sunday! Today we have a mix of sun and clouds with a bit of a smoke haze in the air as well. Today is the first day of September and the official start of fall.😺 Yes, it is true that the Autumnal equinox is around September 22,🙀 but that doesn’t hold true for the actual beginning of fall here in the north.
That works okay for southern locations or warmer locations, but here in the north it just doesn’t work true for us. Here in Canada our meteorologists always use September 1 for the beginning of fall, December 1 begins winter, March 1 begins spring and June 1 begins summer.

That works for much of the country, except here in the north and further north even than us, our winters are much longer, usually going from November 1 to the end of April, and sometimes winter begins by early October.🙀
But at least it’s closer than the calendar seasons which make no sense at all for us northerners. I understand why it’s done that way, but it’s still crazy for us.😹 Anyway, that is to let you know why I choose the meteorological seasons.
