For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Hi and Happy Sunday everyone! I do hope your day is going well, or has gone well, depending on where you live. It is a very lovely day here. It was beautiful and sunny earlier but has now become cloudy, but the temperature is still mild at 57F (14C). The ice is rapidly disappearing from our lake, which is happening earlier than usual this year. That part is actually quite nice indeed. I like to see the water. Personally I think it looks better than ice. But that is just me. Some people enjoy looking at the ice. Everyone is different.

Anyway, I have another bright sunshiny flower to share today. This is a very bright orange Iceland Poppy. Those poppies come in many different colors and they tolerate our cool weather quite nicely. Have a wonderful day everyone and God bless!

Good morning everyone and Happy Sunday! It has been a beautiful weekend so far. The gulls are enjoying the nice weather too, flying around in large numbers and having a great time squawking to one another. The robins are singing out here each morning and evening which is so nice. But apparently things are about to change for a few days this week as colder weather and a bit of snow come back again. But it is only temporary and it is April, so this is quite normal for this time of the year.

Chipmunks should be out and about now as well, something I am missing this year. However, I do have a lot of photos that I can enjoy showing these cute little critters that would come and sit on my knee to get their peanuts. Today I show one of these photos for you to enjoy with me. Have a great day and God bless!
