For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
I’m back once more! Yeah, I know, third time today. But I don’t do this every day, however, since I am doing those extra two posts until the end of the year, then it makes three each day for three more days yet. Well, I guess today will make four posts, since my story post will be out a little later. The snow had stopped for a while, but I see it has begun to snow again. The kids are playing hockey on the skating rink across the street. They seem to enjoy that.

Here is a nice, bright photo to enjoy showing the Painted Lady butterfly sitting on a Zinnia.
Have a great day everyone and God bless!

Hi again everyone! I hope you are all doing well and having a wonderful time today! It’s a rather cold day here, and cloudy once again, but that is quite typical for the month of December in our area. So, it’s nice to look at some pictures that make me feel warmer, like pictures of summer. Or summer flowers. Or in this post, summer birds. Although today’s picture is actually more of a spring picture, from the month of May to be exact.

Today’s bird is a male Rose-breasted Grosbeak.
They can be attracted to feeders when they first arrive, but once nesting begins, then they tend to stay more hidden away in the forest. I hope you enjoy today’s bird photo, have a great day and God bless!
