“A young child asked a woman how old she was. She answered, “39 and holding.” The child thought for a moment, then said, “And how old would you be if you let go?”

“I try to lose weight, but it keeps finding me.”

“TEACHER: Why didn’t you study?
STUDENT: A year has 365 days for you to study. After taking away 52 Sundays, there are only 313 days left. There are 50 days in the summer that are way too hot to work so there are only 263 days left. We sleep 8 hours a day, in a year, that counts up to 122 days so now we’re left with 141 days. If we fooled around for only 1 hour a day, 15 days are gone, so we are left with 126 days. We spend 2 hours eating each day – 30 days are used in this way in the year, and we are left with 96 days in our year. We spend 1 hour a day speaking to friends and family, that takes away 15 days more and we are left with 81 days. Exams and tests take up at least 35 days in your year; hence you are only left with 46 days. Taking off approximately 40 days of holidays, you are only left with 6 days. Say you are sick for a minimum of 3 days; you’re left with 3 days in the year to study! Let’s say you only go out for 2 days…you’re left with 1 day. But that 1 day is your birthday. That’s why I did not study.
Teacher: Class dismissed.”

Later, Crystal, Kristina and Catalina took Kat and the cats to the drop off spot. The cats went out through a hole in the floor while Kat got out the door, then they ran quickly off the road and hid. Then the car drove away, leaving Kat standing beside the road. About 15 minutes later another car came and stopped beside her. A big man got out and opened the back door, telling her to get in.
“Not until I can see that Muffin is okay,” she said. A voice from inside the car said it was okay. The man opened the trunk of the car and Kat looked inside. Muffin was in a tiny cage, so sad looking. “Okay,” said Kat and she walked to the door. The man let the trunk lid close by itself. But since it was slow, Rusty and Storm jumped in, grabbed the cage and jumped out with it just in time!
The car then drove away. Now it was a big moment for Snow. Rusty has been teaching her how to pick locks, so she was given the tools and she carefully, but quickly worked at the lock and had Muffin out in no time. Meowy?=Mommy Muffin okay? Meow, meow.=Yep, me okay, kinda. But sad I got caught and now human ghost Kat is caught because of me.
Meow.=Me think she not be caught for too long. He then sent a message to Kat that Muffin was okay. Right then another car came along and stopped. It was Tracy, Sapphire, Aasta and Andrej. Andrej and Sapphire got out quickly and let the cats jump in while they watched with guns ready. Once the cats were in, Andrej and Sapphire jumped in and off they went.
We were trying to coordinate things very closely, we do not want to lose track of Kat who has a transmitter hidden in her left boot. Her right boot held a surprise for Craig and his men. Now to them in Craig’s car. “Nice to meet you,” said Williams, “I have never met a real ghost before.” “You just might regret meeting me,” said Kat, “what is preventing me from killing you both right now?”
“That little cat in the trunk,” said Craig, “try anything at all and Butch up there will press a button which will release a poison gas, killing your furry little friend.” He smiled at the thought. “You do not know much about ghosts,” she replied, “I could kill you and save her before your Butch could even press that button.” She returned the smile.
“Now look lady,” said Craig, “I know you are not a ghost, but you do have some peculiar tools at your disposal and I want them. Then you and your cat friend can go free.” “You really do not expect me to believe you,” said Kat, “do you?” “You do not have a choice,” he said. “Like I said, you know nothing about ghosts and what we can do,” she reminded him, “my abilities are mine because I am a ghost, they cannot be given to a mere human.”
“Well, if that is true,” he said, “then I will have to insist that you work for me for a while. And I will have to keep the cat too, just to make sure you do as you are told.” “You are a real dreamer Craig,” she said, “Williams here has more sense than you do. And Butch, and Bouncer, will not be able to help you either. This is where we get off.”
Williams went for his gun, as did Craig, but neither one worked. Then Kat went into action, first kicking Williams, then kicking Craig, plus hitting him twice. She then kicked the car door which sounded like a small explosion and it flew open, with Kat rolling out into the grass. That was when Butch looked back and slammed on the brakes.
Finally Craig was able to yell about pushing the button, which Butch did right away. Then he turned around and stopped at the spot where Kat rolled out, but she was nowhere to be seen. “How could she disappear here?” asked Craig, “There is nothing but short grass! And get that dead cat out of the car. Butch went to do that.
“Boss, the cat is gone too,” he said. Craig came to look for himself. “See,” said Williams, “she saved the cat too, like she said.” “Well, you are so smart about ghosts,” said Craig, “where did she go?” “She could be standing right beside us,” he said, “only she does not want us to see her, so she is invisible.” Makes sense to me boss,” said Butch looking around, “I will believe in ghosts from now on.”
“I smell a trap,” said Craig, “back in the car and get out of here fast.” “This back door is busted bad,” said Bouncer, “she must have quite a kick.” “And you can get in and hold that door shut,” said Craig, and soon they were driving fast down the road to an old airfield where their helicopter would be waiting for them.
It was there alright, but it was in flames and their pilot was lying on the ground. “Keep going to the city!” yelled Craig, so off they went, Butch driving as fast as he dared…
