For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Good morning everyone! It is another cloudy morning here, but milder than it has been. Those are heavy clouds out there too. It did not start to get daylight until 7:30, about 40 minutes later than yesterday. The only birds I have seen so far are the ravens. We have had some rain as well, though it does not appear to be raining at the moment. It is a very busy day for traffic on our street.
That part is not very exciting, I must admit, but it is just an observation of what is happening right now. As I mentioned yesterday, I will be showing pics taken yesterday when the weather was much nicer. It really was a perfect day for photography. At least I think so.

This is a small, round, and very deep, lake on the edge of town.
Some photographers actually enjoy cloudy, rainy days and take wonderful photos in that kind of weather. And it does depend on the subject as well. Generally for wildlife photography sunny days are best. Colors show up much nicer on sunny days, and that is important, especially on some bird species whose color just does not show up as nice on a cloudy day.
Even animals fur coats look much more dull on cloudy days. Perhaps with the right filters it would work out better, that is something I want to try. I was on the balcony yesterday, and Muffin wanted to come out with me, so out we went. I left the door open so she could go back inside any time she wanted. She came out and looked around, but there was a lot of traffic at the time and she did not seem to like that.

A bit of mist floats above the surface of the lake.
So she kept going in and out the whole time. She did peek over the edge a couple of times, then promptly ran back inside. But she came back out nearly right away. I was cleaning up the remaining flowers and getting the pots put away for the winter.
It looks much better out there now and I have a place to sit again, though I probably will not sit out there much anymore this year. Hard to say though. It seems to be raining again. I am very stiff and sore today, must be the weather. But, all in all, it is a beautiful day!

The colors in the trees around this lake are very nice too.
And a great day to drink coffee! And a great day to clean the apartment! Um, well, 2 out of 3 is not bad. I will do some cleaning too though. I also need to fix my fall wreath, it got a bit battered in the move. Not hard to fix though. Have a wonderful Wednesday everyone and God bless!

Hi to all of you today!😺 I so glad to see you here with me again. Yesterday while it still sunny, we went outside onto balcony room. I like being in fresh air, but it so scary being up so high in the air. I look down, down, down, it just too far to the ground from up here, so I run back inside where it safe.🙀 Whew! Here is today funny…
A guy was on the side of the road hitchhiking on a very dark night and in the middle of a storm. The night was rolling on and no car went by. The storm was so strong he could hardly see a few feet ahead of him.
Suddenly he saw a car coming toward him and stop.
Without thinking about it, the guy got into the back seat, closed the door and then realized there was nobody behind the wheel! The car starts slowly; the guy looks at the road and sees a curve coming his way. Scared, he starts to pray begging for his life.
He hasn’t come out of shock, when just before he hits the curve, a hand appears through the window and moves the wheel. The guy, paralyzed in terror, watched how the hand appears every time right before a curve.
Gathering his strength, the guy jumps out of the car and runs to the nearest town. Wet and in shock, he goes to a restaurant and starts telling everybody about the horrible experience he went through.
A silence enveloped everybody when they realize the guy was serious.
About half an hour later, two guys walked in the same restaurant. They looked around for a table when one said to the other, “Look John, that’s the dummy who got in the car when we were pushing it.”
Hehe!😹 That all for today everyone. Have very nice day!
