For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Good morning everyone! Whew! What a day yesterday. I went shopping, did some cleaning, washing some things that were on top of my kitchen cupboards that had not been washed in a while and I wanted to do that before packing them, rearranged some things in here so I could walk around without tripping and falling flat on my face and managed to pack 5 boxes.
That may not sound like too much, but for me that was a very busy day and by evening I was screaming with pain. Honest. My painkillers did nothing to slow it down either. Three days left. I still have a lot of packing to do. But nothing else fortunately. There are 49 boxes packed now.

Here is another different damselfly, a male Familiar Bluet.
There will be 60 when I am done. At least. Although I do have 15 boxes left. Five are rather large boxes. That is a good thing. Muffin is getting more stressed out every day. She does not like having things in such disarray. I do not blame her at all. I do not like it either. Packing is not the problem.
Having things in disarray is the problem. It definitely can be stressful. Especially when it becomes difficult and dangerous to walk around normally. There is no way to walk around here normally at the moment. Even Muffin has to jump over things to get around. That part is a bit difficult for me.

This is a very different insect, a Scorpionfly (panorpa species), very colorful, not dangerous, it does not bite or sting. This is the female, the male has the tail curling up over itself like a scorpion.
Which is why I end up kicking things. And stumbling over things. And walking into things. And hitting my head. And falling down. And kicking things. Wait, I mentioned that one already. Oh well, it deserves being mentioned twice since I do it so often. Of course, I was doing it a lot even when things were normal.

Here is a side view of this strange insect.
So maybe things have not changed too much. The joys of moving. Hard to believe it has been 7 and a half years since my last move. That was kind of nice really. Oh well, guess I should get packing again. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a terrific Tuesday and God bless!
