Vacation…A Poem.

Vacation

It soon is time for me to go,

But I’ll be back, don’t you know.

Going to have some time away,

Relax a bit, watch palms sway.

With all the cold we have here,

Time to get warm, is now near.

Sandy beaches and tall palm trees,

Sun and heat, with gentle breeze.

Tropic sunrise that I will see,

This I find perfect for me.

In the ocean I will get wet,

Then watch the tropic sunset.

I really won’t be gone too long,

I will be back, finally WARM!

(okay, so it doesn’t rhyme)

    • Sure, you can be disappointed if you want. But, hey, just pack up the truck and head for the beach, um, pool. Buy a fake palm tree, spread some sand around, and you have a tropical vacation. You already have the heat part, and the ocean isn’t far away too.😁🌴🤸‍♂️🤪😜🙃🥳😎😉

  8. Wow, I dreamed away among palm trees and the ocean. I wish you a great time Steve.
    In a week I go to ocean and beach too, but no palm trees here in the North.
    I am going to dance on the beach at sunset around the bonfire and just have fun.
    I will write a little poem about it later.

  10. Steve, thanks for sharing a great poem. Your words bring comfort as I sit at my table in wet, very wet day. Enjoy your time away from the Great White North.

    In a few weeks, I am heading to the Last Best Place in my world . . . with a Big Montana Sky.
