Barnabus Award #3.

Hello everyone and here we are with my third Barnabus Award!  I can’t wait until I get it 5 times, since this award is all about 5s, so that will be quite exciting.  But I’m excited anyway!  And this award was given to me by Mrs. Holliman who has a nice and encouraging blog and has been a great supporter of my blog for awhile now.  Thank you so very much Mrs. Holliman for giving me this award, it is much appreciated!!

The Barnabas Award is presented in recognition of encouragement and inspiration a blogger brings to their readers.

 

How the award works:

  1. Thank the person who nominated you, and share their blog.
  2. Think of five bloggers that encouragement and inspire you and nominate them.
  3. List five things about yourself and answer the questions.
  4. Lastly, ask your nominees five questions. Why five? Because it is the number that signifies grace.

5 Things About Me:

  1. I’m a bit crazy.  Fun though.
  2. I’m a bit old fashioned.
  3. I don’t have any kids.
  4. I have developed a love for the sea.
  5. I really don’t like being alone, except at certain times.

Mrs. Holliman’s Questions:

  1. What do you look forward to in the future? Tomorrow.
  2. What makes you wake up every morning? Usually Muffin.  She stands on me.  If that doesn’t work she slaps my nose with her paw.  If that doesn’t work, she jumps on me.  That always works.  Meow, meow!! Ha, Ha, very funny.
  3. What makes you happy? About 550 things.  To name a few.  MEOW!! Right, the most important of course is Muffin!  These awards really are getting dangerous!  Anyway, sunshine, morning, warm places, nature, photography, warm places, animals, flowers, warm places, feeding birds, reading, warm places, traveling, friends, warm places, family, coffee, and warm places.  Just to name a few things.
  4. What is your favorite color? Blue.  Meow! Muffin’s favorite is pink, next is blue.
  5. Do you pay attention to the politics? If so, Why? I try to.  I think it’s important to know what our government is up to.  And they do a lot.  A lot of mistakes, a lot of lying, a lot of changing promises, a lot of raising prices, a lot of nothing and a lot more of other such things.  Sigh.

    Thank you for thinking of me in good company. 🙏🏻

    1. When? January 22, 2019 start date of blog
    2. Why? I had written for several years as therapy—sharing it seemed the next step. Blogging seemed the right place.
    3. Next year? I initially committed to one year of blogging…
    4. Enjoy? Even as a kid I enjoyed writing, painting, singing dancing….but honestly—I enjoy it more so now.
    5. Why follow you? Oh goodness if I go all I to detail and then WP crashes on me again I’ll screamlol!!!

    • Hi Nina! I guess you don’t like to do award posts?🤔 Oh, oh, answers to questions 3 and 5 are scary!😬 I sure hope you consider continuing with your wonderful blog Nina!😁 It would be absolutely terrible to lose you,😲 too many good bloggers have left this year already. Sigh.😥
      After such a nice almost summer like day yesterday, it sure has changed today and getting cooler all week, with rain.😕🌧

      • Yes! A wonderful day today! I do like awards—sigh—I have so many posts I want to do and so little time left…but I love being thought of as encouraging and inspiring too! It’s an honor to be in such good company!
        #3–I’m in a happy place with my blog—so much more than I ever expected blogging could be! A great experience and wonderful company too. I can let it go…to create something new…

      • Yes, I guess I can see your point. Sometimes it’s time to move on to new things. Perhaps one day I will be brave enough to do that too. I know what I would like to do, but there’s that crazy circle called ”comfort zone”! Enjoy your evening Nina! It’s been a busy day.😃😺🌞

      • Yeah, I understand that as well. Nice to be in your zone and comfortable. Not a thing wrong with that. At least you know what you would like to do. I have no clue yet! Ha! I’m just going to enjoy the next couple of months and see what happens and where the road leads next…

      • Thanks Nina! That’s really what I wanted to accomplish with this blog from the start. A place to relax and smile a bit. Amazing though how some people don’t think that’s good enough. Oh well, can’t please everyone I guess. Amazing how dark it is already and it’s not that late! Clouds will do that though. Take care and have a great week!😃😺🌞🌳

      • Yep, the sun is always shining, sure can’t see it this morning, heavy cloud, steady rain, cool.😕🌧 Good day to stay indoors and drink coffee!👍☕ Except when I went to make my coffee…nothing.😲 Coffee maker quit working!😬 Sigh. A morning without coffee.😵😥 That’s worse than no sun!!😂😂😹😹

  13. Steve, you are so sweet! My deepest gratitude to you for nominating me. I’m genuinely honored ♥ As always, I thoroughly enjoyed reading your answers as well. Muffin jumping on you or batting your nose sounds simply adorable. How could you possibly resist such cuteness? 😀

    I’ve been so far out of the loop, my sincere apologies. Between some health hiccups and a home renovation, I’m behind on reading & writing! Hoping I can one day in the near future get back in to the swing of things….
