Summer Dreams #2

Looking now at all this snow,

Must admit I want to go,

Back to a hot summer day,

Where I’d like to always stay.

By the river I would be,

Enjoying things that are free.

Watch the river as it flows,

Wondrous beauty that it shows.

Sitting there among the pine,

Sun is shining, oh so fine.

Watching birds play in the trees,

Feeling gentle summer breeze.

Summer beauty is so fair,

Dreaming now, just to be there.

      • He was an email follower so it was easy to find out.😂Yep, people change their interests over time and there are always others to take their place. Still, it’s terrible to lose my first follower.😕 But that’s the way it goes sometimes.
