Our beautiful dogbane.

Good morning everyone on this beautiful Monday!  I hope this finds you all well and that you are all finding ways to adjust to our new temporary way of life.  That’s always the best way to view things, though it may be hard right now to deal with all the many changes to our normal routines, we should always remember it is only temporary.  This will pass and the beauty around us will become more vibrant than ever before.  It was a nice sunny day yesterday and the ice melted off my deck and off the trees finally.  But the clouds returned late in the evening just before the moon was up high enough for me to get pictures.  Oh well, I was doing good with getting pics each night of the changing size of the moon.  Perhaps I can get some that I missed as the moon wanes next week.  It was trying to shine through the clouds last night, I could just make it out, but not breaks in the clouds to help.  Muffin says, “who cares, where’s the chipmunks?”  The ice seems to have kept the chipmunks at home again, but they will be back.

And now for today’s sunny flowers…

And we will start with these lovely apple blossoms on the tree next to my deck.  It will be nice to see these again this spring.IMG_3571

And then we have these beautiful cherry blossoms from the tree in my neighbors yard.  It blooms just a little before the apple tree and is a mass of these pink blossoms at it’s peak.  Nice to have these two trees so close at hand.  And that’s our bright and sunny flowers for today.  I hope you have a wonderful day, stay safe and God bless!

    • Yes indeed, it is supposed to be a very nice day today, then return to cold for the next 10 days. I hope that forecast is wrong!😳
      The chipmunks are back once again and Muffin is happy!😸😻🐿🐿🐿

  7. Beautiful apple and cherry blossoms, you will get apple and cherry fruit from this plant? Muffin will be like who cares 😂 Are you still taking that moon pictures? How is your back? Hope you are not doing any stunts to take pictures of moon.Take care Steve 🙂 Have a beautiful day 👌✨💐

    • The apple tree produces lots of apples each year,😁🍎🍎 but they belong to my landlord. But the bears get most of them.🐻🐻 Too bad, they’re good apples. Last year I was allowed to pick some, they are great for a pie!! The cherries are my neighbors,😕🍒🍒 but they are ornamental cherries, produces a lot of berries but they are not good for eating, so the birds get them. That’s okay, it attracts a lot of birds which is nice.🐦🐦
      I tried last night, the moon was a size I haven’t gotten yet, but there was too many clouds so didn’t get it. It’s a super moon, so it’s huge, that’s why I have been trying to get these pics.🌙📷 But it’s supposed to be a super moon next month also so maybe I can get pics I miss this time. No stunts now, yes, my back is much better, thanks.😁🤸‍♂️
      It is a beautiful day,🌞 birds are busy, 🐦chipmunks busy,😻🐿🐿🐿 squirrel busy, I’m worn out from shopping!😂😹🙄 Have a great evening Simon!😃😺🌙📷

      • The apples really are delicious,😋 but a little hard to get at as most grow on the top half of the tree so I need a ladder to get at them.😳😬 I shouldn’t be climbing ladders, but….🙄🙄
        Muffin and I played, now she’s at the door, she was watching the chipmunks but she fell asleep.😂🙄 So now she is probably chasing chipmunks in her dreams!😻🐿🐿🐿

      • Why climb when you can use a stick to pull it down. Imagine hockey stick, make one but a bit longer, I’m sure you will remember our ancient tools to pick fruits from the top 😉. But it’s safe for u to not stunt at anything. Muffin must got busy in her dreams😍🐱 Have fun ✨🤗

      • Have to use ladder, my landlord is afraid the branches might break otherwise.😬 And with me, that’s probably what would happen,🤪 I would pull the whole tree over!!!!😳😳😂😹🙄

      • No no no, bad idea, bad idea 😂😜😂 you’ll surely pull down the tree😂😂😜. Get some help, why waste all the fresh apples😉 we have never seen fresh apples all are used some chemicals and delivered here after months of travelling.☺️

      • That’s the nice thing about these apples, no chemicals, can eat them right off the tree, nice and juicy, just perfect.😁😸🌞🍎🍎
