Good morning everyone! Muffin and I were up bright and early this morning. Well, it wasn’t really too bright, actually it was dark, but it was early. I thought for sure Muffin must be hungry. That wasn’t it. She wanted to play. I toss toy, she chases it, I head for bed, Muffin beats me to bed. Sigh. Purr. Bouncing all over the bed like a kangaroo. Muffin, not me. I was having trouble keeping my eyes open so I didn’t fall down. I didn’t want to bounce. I look at the clock, 3 am. That’s too early Muffin. She stops, like she actually understood me. Good, back to bed. I tell Muffin to move over. She just lays there. I push her over. She moves back before I can get into bed. I get into bed anyway. I try to push her over a bit with my legs. She holds on with her claws. I stop, don’t want holes in my blanket. I have enough room now anyway. How come such a small cat wants so much of the bed? She just doesn’t want me going back to bed….
And now for some sunny summer pics once again looking at our feathered friends….
And we will start off with 2 Canada geese, with one looking right at me as if to say “he has a camera Gus, smile”.
And following behind mom and dad, a couple of young Canada geese still in the downy stage. I was aiming for just one, but the other swam up fast when he saw me taking pictures.
The geese on the lake like that just makes it feel so nice and warm. Well, I hope you all have a great start to your week, please stay safe and God bless!
Steve and Muffin.
