Good morning everyone! It’s a beautiful morning out here. At 4 it was clear, no wind, the birds were singing loud and cheerful, just so nice. The clouds are now moving in once more and it looks like a day of showers and thunderstorms is ahead of us. Muffin isn’t going to like that too much. The squirrels have just found the peanuts, they were a little late getting here this morning which is odd.

So the fighting between them is once again the loudest part of the morning. And they can get loud. Hmm, seems they have both managed to get a peanut and they are staying apart just enough that they don’t fight, but they continue to chatter while they eat. Amazing how they can chatter and eat at the same time. One of the gulls was here bright and early this morning, I should name that one, he is always the first one here, likely a non breeder.

Then Sir Henry showed up so I brought more food for him. He was sitting on the roof when I brought the food out and the first gull came down for more. First time I have seen gulls fight so much! Both left so I made sure the crows didn’t get the food while I waited to see if either would return. Only took a few minutes and Sir Henry returned for his breakfast. Guess the first gull won’t try that again anytime soon.

Today I’m just showing some pics of places along the river that I enjoy. It is beautiful all along that river, so many great places to sit and enjoy the scenery. I just put out some more peanuts after the squirrels had gone so maybe the chipmunks would get some. I was wrong, the squirrels obviously heard me and are back again, eating and chattering at each other. At least they both have a peanut anyway. Even with the noisy squirrels and lack of sunshine it is still a beautiful morning. I hope you all have a wonderful day and God bless!

      I saw two little fawns this morning,🌞😁 but they ran off before I could get a picture.😕📷 Likely only a week old! So cute though!😀😺

      • Sorry you got a bonk on the head for your birthday lol! Don’t you love it when you get the perfect picture but the subject runs off too fast to take it? I can imagine those little fawns were absolutely adorable! Hope the rest of your day is perfect! Seeing those fawns would have to be the highlight though! 🙂

      • Just typical for Steve! Nothing serious, just the normal moaning and groaning. Yep, those fawns were definitely the highlight of things seen today, even if I didn’t get a picture. They are just so cute when they are so young!😁😸📷
