For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Good morning everyone! It is such a beautiful morning, Sir George was out here before 5 calling for his food, guess I was a little slow getting it out today. That bird can eat! It was nice to be out there and watching the sunrise. Well, I can’t actually see the beginning part except for watching the sun touching the tops of the trees starting about 5:12 and that is such a beautiful thing to see. Sir Henry came next after I had come back inside for a few minutes and he was sitting on the railing of the deck waiting for me. That’s where he sits when I have the door open, that way he can look in the door and call for me with his “yep, yep, yep”. After he was done then Lady Pearl came for her breakfast. So I was kept busy going back and forth. I’m trying to make sure there isn’t much left for the crows so that hopefully the number of crows will shrink a bit, and it seems to be working. There was 17 crows, that’s now down to 7, which is still too many though, they are scaring all my smaller birds away.
But it is so beautiful sitting out here with my coffee once again, listening to all the birds singing. That song sparrow and wren are really singing a lot this morning. The robin was singing earlier but guess he is out looking for breakfast now. The thrushes are singing non stop, I just love listening to those birds. There are some bird songs that really shout “summer” and theirs is one of them. One bird I’m missing this year is the mourning dove, there has been a pair nesting close by each summer, but not this year. Theirs is another of those “summer” songs. Now for some pics to enjoy, the top pic is the “orange hawkweed”, a very bright and cheery wildflower, they are kind of like an orange dandelion.
In the above pic is the orange “Iceland poppy”, another very bright and beautiful flower. These Iceland poppies will bloom for weeks and make a nice addition to any garden.
In the above pic is the “Oriental poppy”, a very large and bright flower. Well, thank you for joining me again this morning. I hope you all have a wonderful day and God bless!
Steve and Muffin.
looks like another great start to the day; love the bright color of the flower…

Good morning Sally!
I think those flowers are right across the country. A lot of people hate them because they can spread a lot like dandelions. But I love their bright and cheerful color, a nice addition to any landscape.ππΊπββ

When the sky gets dark ,
And gray clouds make a lightening spark,
God would nourish all with rain ,
To bring joy and overcome the pain,
Nothing really goes in vain ,
Always thrive to bless again ,
In fantasy, you thrive and gain ,
Blessed you would forever and ever remain ,
The blue sky would sunshine contain …
The universe shall a rainbow for you explain ,
Drops of rain would livelihood retain…
For life to be renewed with gain
Again , and again and again …

You have a very busy morning with so many friends around you. enjoying early in the summer day is the best. Nature gives us the best when everything is in sight. The photos, as always, are great. The colors to make the interior of the being shine.
Good afternoon to you and your traveling companions.

I’m out of milk for my tea this morning. Oat milk just isn’t cutting it… I ended up having to dump most of my tea, so I’m off to a good start this morning. π Tbh I haven’t really seen flowers outside but I hardly leave the house. Are you up before Muffin or does Muffin wake you up?

Oat milk in tea? Terrible thought. I drink my tea black, no matter what kind of tea, no milk or sugar. Usually Muffin is up first and she wakes me up by jumping on me like she did this morning at 4:14.π³πΉ Fortunately my landlord has a lot of flowers so I don’t have to go far, except for getting wildflowers which come from my walk. I want to get out more and get a greater variety of flowers this year though. Winters are long so I need lots of pics. Hope your day goes better!πππΊ

Black tea is not palatable at all. I need milk in my tea but so far, plant milks just aren’t cutting it. My cat wakes me up too if the bedroom door is open. And of course, he jumps on me. He will wake me up at 5:30-6:00 most mornings. For the photos you take, are they from today or do you take them from an earlier album? Do you write blog posts in advance or do you write them after your morning walks? π

I never write posts in advance, though I did try it before, didn’t like that however. Pics are normally within a few days of a post during the summer months, especially flowers. Birds or other animals can sometimes be 2 or 3 weeks old during summer months. All that changes in winter of course, unless it’s winter pics. Right now I’m taking pics faster than I can use them! And some I’m keeping just for use this coming winter. I seldom use same day pics in a post as I download pics just once a day in the evening. I could take my laptop on the deck and write about things as they happen, but the battery will no longer charge so now I sit with my coffee and come inside to write about it after. Trying to do a post on my phone is a futile endeavor. I try to walk down to the river in early afternoon when bears should hopefully be sleeping. Have a great evening Hilary!ππΊπ

Can you get your battery replaced? Depending on the laptop, it might be possible. Is it the battery or the charger? If it’s the charger that cannot hold a charge, that is an easy fix. π»
Tell me about it! Writing a post on a smart phone is a headache for me… sometimes I will write a rough draft on a notepad if I am not near a laptop. I usually write comments/replies from my phone (except this time, I am using a laptop). WP often crashes on me so I stopped writing rough drafts on WP, in the event where it does not save. It sure sounds nice going for daily walks! πββοΈ

The battery charges fully, it says, but it’s gone in 10 minutes. It can be replaced but they have to send it away and it would take 4 weeks to get it back, too long. I never used battery power much anyway so it’s just not worth it to me.
Yep, daily walks are great, especially on a path surrounded by nature.πΆββοΈπ But even just a short walk gets fresh air and clears the brain, helps us to think better and get things done more quickly.ππΆββοΈ
Hope you have a great weekend Hilary!ππΊπ

4 weeks is too long. The longest I had to wait for a battery replacement was one week. Yeah, I couldnβt live without a laptop for a month! Thatβs waaaaayyy too long.
If my foot wasnβt in so much pain I would go outside. I havenβt been able to exercise for 3 weeks now. I need to see a doctor but donβt have the time. πββοΈ

That’s good idea, I don’t use my phone from 10:30 pm to 3 am. and 3 am to 4 am to make me feel asleep reading some stories that will make me sleep. and again from Mrng 6:30 it starts. its like my third hand these days, spends most of its time with me.
