Good morning everyone and Happy Monday to you all as well! It is a fabulous, though cool, sunny morning here today. The birds are actually quite active this morning. Sir Charles was here for his breakfast when it was just getting some daylight out there, even the crows weren’t here yet. So I took some food out for him which he enjoyed without interruption from the crows trying to get on the feeder. A couple of the crows have gotten very brave and will go on the feeder with the gulls. That is something that Sir George and Sir Henry do not tolerate. Even Sir Charles is starting to chase them off. Jasper, the squirrel, was here quite early too and kind of chased the chipmunks a bit, but he doesn’t get too involved with that, he just wants the peanuts. Why waste time chasing chipmunks when food is available?

All 7 chipmunks were here again this morning and Coffee was first as usual. When he’s early then he can relax a bit and he chews open the peanuts to take the delicious peanut inside. By doing that he can take 3 peanuts, but when the other chipmunks start coming then he just grabs one and leaves fast! But, I haven’t seen Skamper, my most friendly chipmunk, since Friday, which is not good. However, with chipmunks that can happen sometimes because they need to make their homes a little larger to hold the bounty of food. Peanuts do take up a lot of space. Then they return again. But they are never gone longer than a few days, so we’ll soon see if Skamper returns or not. The new squirrel hasn’t been here since Saturday. I think Jasper likes that, he can relax more too. I was going to be early with my post this morning, but had some computer problems. I’m no good with computer problems. And I can’t do posts on my phone, just too small. Oh well. It’s a beautiful morning. And I didn’t even tell about all the activity this morning.

The featured image at the top is a fawn out for an early morning breakfast with it’s mother. He was standing next to a house in the picture, a very common sight in this town.

Then in the picture above is a family, or two, of geese going for a morning swim at the beach. Both deer and geese are a common sight in our town, but they are still a joy to see. I hope you all have a marvelous Monday and God bless!

    • Glad you liked that one Renee! It is a beautiful little critter. Yes, I hope I don’t lose Skamper.😳 Just found my new squirrel on the street, didn’t make it this morning,😕 so now it’s just Jasper and the chipmunks.😁🐿🐿🐿🐿🐿🐿🐿

  5. These animal pics are cute. There’s quite a few deer in the west too, and tons of Canada geese. They’re everywhere! The park downtown has a bunch of em’. Happy Monday! ☀️

    • Hi Hilary! Glad you liked the pics. Most people around here hate the geese it seems but only a few people don’t like the deer. And those deer are everywhere, on yards, walking down sidewalks, even right downtown. And they do know enough to stay on the sidewalk.😁🦌🦌🦌

      • It’s crazy that my birthday was last week and it’s already a new week. Seriously, where did the weekend go?! For my birthday, it was kinda boring but at least I had Costco cake… a slab of cake called Tuxedo cake. It was very yummy. 🎂

        Even though I didn’t get to do this on my birthday, I got to try FloatLife two days after my birthday. It was a birthday gift to myself. You float on salt water in a personal pod for an hour+, with aroma therapy. It helps with muscle relaxation. 🧘‍♀️🌱

      • This past week did go by fast, but for me the whole summer has gone by way too fast, it will soon be gone. It was a nice sunny day today, though not hot and very windy. I didn’t go for my walk though, I decided to stay home and get some things done here. I need to get out more and get more summer pics though, fall will be here all too soon, already leaves have started to change color. Not many yet, but it has started.😳
        Hmm, floating in a pod. I think that might give me that closet with a phobia problem.🤔🤪

The deer is so cute and young😍✨ Well that was an awesome beginning, I have just done writing a story for you and Muffin 😸 it’s y funny conversation 😂I think, 🙄 it was funny for me , hope you will like it 😁. I’m thinking to send it to you, and you can add some fun elements as well 🤔 what you think 😉

      • It could feel like an earthquake to an ant.🤔🐜 Or even an uncle.🐛😂😂😹😹🤪 Someone once said I caused an earthquake when I jumped off a roof and it was so bad it knocked him off his feet. Wasn’t my fault he was standing under me!😂😂🤣🤣🙄

      • 😂😂😂😂 Maybe you are right ☺️☺️☺️ I’ve tried so hard and gained some milligrams of weight 😔. And this might surprise you. Today in our office, they have asked our shoes heel to dip it in a mat that was wet in a sanitizer liquid to kill the germs 😂😂😂 I started to wonder none of the colleagues walks on floor with hand and why they even sanitize foot too 😜

      • I said the same 🙄 🤔 I have no idea why I still don’t know any of them in that office 😳 They think I’m invisible 🤔 there is only two or three person who happen to respond to my smile and one of them actually talk with me and others 🤔 pretty tough to talk 🧐 I’m still enjoying my own company, being invisible 😇😁

      • 🤔☺️ Thank you for the motivation Steve 😁I’ve travelled some 750 km in my car to meet my wife 😄 I’ve been waiting for so long and finally I thought it’s time. Sadly 😳🙄 I was put up in a quarantine zone for a day 😔 . Waiting for my test result so that I can leave from here ASAP, Hoping I would probably leave by tonight 😇 will keep you posted, and that is why I can’t be around blogging 😸

      • I’ve finally reached home 😄. They asked me stay in home quarantine 😂. But I’m returning back to Chennai this week end again. Let’s see if I get my pass approved to go back to my place again 😒
