Wildfire, A Poem.

Wildfire

Blazing red, up in the sky,

Shines the sun, on land so dry.

Smoke so thick, goes far and wide,

Soon the sun, begins to hide.

Fires wild, all ‘cross the land,

Eating all, that dares to stand,

Through the brush, and trees so tall,

Loud it roars, upon them all.

Flames so hot, they bring much fear,

On the land, all life holds dear.

When it’s done, land charred so black,

Can this land, again come back?

But soon the rains, soak the ground,

Plants so green, again are found.

    • Good morning Simon!😀😺🌞 Yes indeed, nature comes back again even after such destruction. It’s amazing how fast it will turn green again. The next year flowers will fill the area, blueberry bushes will be abundant. And wildlife returns to enjoy this fresh food. Hope you have a good evening Simon!😁🌙😴

  2. Very sad situation nature so roaring , some places flood and wildfire
    earth quakes, when this situation calm down, no idea !!

      • Oh my, that’s not good to hear. Yes, even here the economy is bad, but probably not like it is there. Really, we can’t complain too much. It is still hot and dry here, so many forest fires, every day there is more fires. The smoke is so bad again today.
        I’m glad to hear that you’re happy now that things are more open again. We are almost back to normal, still need to physical distance and wear masks, most everything is open now, but not quite full open.
        I hope you have a very happy and enjoyable week ahead!😁😺😻🌞☕☕
