Hello everyone!
Well, I made it down to the river this afternoon (Thursday, March 24) and took a few sunny pictures along the way and at the river, including this one of these old tree roots which look kind of cool sticking out over the river like they do. I tried participation series before, never worked out. One was just like you mentioned, 2 people responded the first time, then nothing. I tried that with a coffee post to try more interactive to get people actually talking in the comments, one person participated the first time. Then I tried another coffee post and said I like cookies with my coffee so lets share cookie recipes and I shared mine. No one participated, so I gave up.😂😂🤣🤣😹😹

Just one race, usually about 3 hours. I think it starts at 230

This is a unique track.. they only go to a few of these a year. Mostly they go around in circles on an oval track which can be kinda boring and hard to follow.

Me too. Had two loads of laundry today, dryer just quit so must check that out soon. Then get some church stuff done. Then dishes, wash floors (maybe), tidy up a bit, this that and the other thing.😁😂😂🙄🙄

Yep, the squirrels around here are just like that, they get half way, car comes, run back, try again, same thing. I watched one squirrel, Slim, do that 5 times. They he came slowly to the edge of the street and actually looked both ways, then took off running as fast as he could and made it, no cars came. All he wanted was a walnut!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Wow, there are some nice places in that group! I would be checking most of them. The last 2 are 2 story places which I generally don’t care for, but that’s only due to health, which is something to consider though, but they sure are nice. I can’t believe how cheap these places are! Those walk in closets are fantastic. Fenced yards are fantastic. You should probably check at least some.

My goodness, another nice place, actually many other nice places. But I like this one especially, nice big fenced in yard which is sure nice. But the whole place looks nice really.

Yeah, but the light fixtures need updating and the counter tops and even the cabinets need changing, I think.

I suppose, nothing wrong with the counter tops, same as the others, just a different color. But that is all expensive work, better to look for one you like then that does not require renovating the kitchen.

It’s best to take it one house at a time, otherwise it can get overwhelming. If something looks good, look at it. Really, pictures are nice, but it’s best to actually see the house in person. There are lots of nice houses there, just pick the one that really stands out the best to you and go look at that one only. Then if you don’t like it, check another one. When you find one you really like, then make an offer, don’t just keep looking or you might miss out. Remember too that these places are quite big for a single guy and it will mean buying a lot of furniture to fill them. Still can’t believe the cheap prices!

Don’t make a quick decision Dusty, wait a bit. It does seem like you’re not quite as happy there as you thought you would be, but sometimes it takes time to settle in too. However, it you do decide to stay there, buying is a better way to go than renting. With renting you spend a lot of money for nothing really. However, whatever, don’t make a rush decision just yet. Weigh the plus and minus of both places for a while.

Yep, just 3 more things to go,😂 2 more will be done this week too, by Sunday anyway. But my back, arthritis and RLS are all real bad these days too,😬 haven’t had it so bad for a long time. So I’m not getting things done, though I have to get some things done before Sunday.🤔

Yeah, that’s true enough, stress is a bad one. Oh well. The worst is one thing is causing a big strain on my only real friendship here in town, but I can’t do much about it. It’s a church matter which he is against but everyone else is in favor of the item. But sending more people a planes maybe wasn’t a good thing since no signals get out from that area and whatever caused your plane to crash could happen to the rescuers..

Yes, I’m sure it was insured, Baldwin insures everything. And he did say we could use it, plus we followed his protocol in destroying the plane before anyone could get hold of it. Technology in that plane would be worth a lot on the black market. Yeah, that’s why the other planes are staying high like we did at the start, just in case we had been shot down. This group will only take photos to try and find us before any rescue attempt is made.😬😬✈️🚁🪂

Once the rescue team comes they will be told to land further away for safety and then travel to our wreckage site on Baldwin’s sand quads which he developed for military use. How they will find us from there I don’t know, unless they see the ruins in their pics as well.🤔😬🙄

All you need is peanuts and patience. Start by leaving the peanuts next to you when sitting outside. After they get used to that it’s time to coax them onto your lap. Usually they learn quite fast.

They move around pretty much at will. I don’t think anybody bothers them. I don’t think I told you at the time… but there were three deer in the backyard here I think it was late January or early February. I was quite surprised to see them here.

Yeah, it just comes down to the fact they could not remember something. So because of their poor memory, they accuse me of doing something without telling anyone. Hey, we voted, and it’s not even something that profits me anyway. Unfortunately distrust can spread quickly and can then cause a lot of problems. So hopefully this will stop that from happening. I will be happy when we have a new pastor.😊

Well, I don’t think it’s really melting, the snow is too frozen now, takes higher temps to melt it now. Meeting went. A very cool atmosphere, wow, it could be felt! Not one person seemed to be happy today. But everything turned out good anyway.

Yeah, they can be expensive! But you can sometimes get a reconditioned one on sale cheap, like my brother did. He couldn’t answer it, but at least he could phone out…most of the time. He finally took an axe to it and got a new phone!😂😂🤣🤣😹😹

Hehehe, well, it wasn’t scary, just gets my fingers shaky pressing buttons for so long. I should have picked a day when the pain wasn’t so bad, both back and arthritis are bad, likely because of the storm coming through tomorrow.

The storm is supposed to hit tonight and go until Thursday morning. We might get a bit of a warming trend on the weekend, then back to cool temps in the 30s until the 18th at least.

Yep, sure am, but they are doing things differently this year. Normally I would have my refund by the end of April, but this year they are issuing it in quarterly payments which I don’t like as much.🙁

No, and I didn’t get a nap either. Things kept happening. It’s been snowing all afternoon, but was warm enough to melt, now it’s starting to stay, tree branches are turning white. So I went out to get the bird feeders in since the birds had left early and they were getting covered in white.🙄🙄🙀❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️

Well Annelie did promise Baldwin and Jake she wouldn’t go off on her own… but when she was getting that drug for Chung when you lost your memory she didn’t exactly wait for help so there’s always a chance she might do it again..😬

Yep, she can be a bit impulsive at times. Her promise to Baldwin seemed a bit weak, and promising Jake may not mean anything although he does help her a lot which could stop if she breaks her promise. Just so hard to know.🤔😧😧😬
