For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Hi everyone! My various herring gull friends always manage to give me a direct look now and then. This photo is not from this year however, a little early for those apples to be out. Besides, that old apple tree is no longer around after one of our bears pushed it over last year. It was not really very nice of him to do that, the birds enjoyed that apple tree. Well, perhaps the gulls are happy it is gone, now it is easier for them to take off from the bird feeder.
Have a beautiful sunny Sunday everyone and God bless!

Cool, interesting photo – a sea bird with a fruit that grows best in non-exposed (seaside) locations. (I think … I’m no botanist! π :-D)

Thanks so much! Well, this strawberry grows a long ways from the sea in the middle of Canada’s northern forest land, and that is where this gull spends his summers, only out to sea in the winter. Thanks so much for the comment!ππΊπ·

Considering how he is always hungry it wouldn’t surprise me if he was wondering if it is edible!ππΉ
