Good morning everyone on this the last day of 2022! And for our final picture, one of my favorite summer birds, and our largest summer bird, the “White Pelican”. I do enjoy taking pictures of these giant birds, they do look comical with those long beaks, and so majestic as they ‘float’ through the air. The one is coming in for a landing on the river, I just missed the landing of the other one and didn’t quite get the full landing of this one either. But I still like the way it turned out. This bird deserves two pictures, so here is the other one.

No, their nesting colony is far out on the lake. By the time they get into town the babies are full grown. Most of the ones I see here are non breeders. It takes them until their 5th year before they breed. Thank you, have a great day!😊😻📷

The fireworks have started here, and its not even midnight yet! But neighbors are having their own fireworks,🧨🧨 the town will be later.🎇🎇🧨🧨 It will likely be cloudy here tomorrow too. The fun, the festivities, the lack of sleep!😂😹Happy New Year!!🥳🥳
