For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Good morning everyone! It is cool and cloudy this morning and it is supposed to start raining later today and stop on Monday. Oh well, it keeps me inside packing. Oh my, it is Day 10 for moving. Time is moving ahead much too fast and my packing is going much too slowly. Very slowly.
Okay, I have 3 boxes packed and about 60 more to go. Somehow I think this move is going to finish me. Hopefully not. But it is only mid morning and already my back is complaining fiercely. The biggest problem is moving day though. I need some younger, strong helpers for that day. I have one. My furniture is heavy. Solid wood, solidly made.

This is a Cabbage White butterfly.
At least 4 helpers would be nice. We shall see. The bear was back again last night. It would not be so bad but he makes so much noise out there, and it wakes me up. The Pileated Woodpecker was out here this morning sitting on the old bird feeder pole. Then his mate came and joined him! What a picture that would have made.

This photo is from last year. This is the Macoun’s Arctic butterfly. They only show up in our area on even numbered years. So they should be back next year.
Unfortunately, though I tried to move slow, opening that door scared them away. Guess now that the temperature is cooling down, he decided to check and see if I was putting out food yet. Too bad they do not like peanuts. I have a lot of them to get rid of this month. And with a lack of chipmunks now and only one squirrel, I will never get rid of them all in such a short time. But I am trying.
This is one time that my buying ahead kind of backfired on me. But it is usually impossible to find peanuts in the summer around here so I always try to buy enough to last the summer. Oh well. Perhaps this cooler weather will remind the chipmunks they need to start storing food for the winter.

This is the Silver-bordered Fritillary butterfly.
Yep, it is early fall now for us and cooler temps have returned and will be staying with us according to the longer range forecast. Well, I am finished my coffee so guess that means it is time to get back to packing again. Have a great day everyone and God bless!

Steve, I am praying you will get all the young helpers for moving that you need. Maybe the one mover has some friends that would help for a little pizza! Supernatural favor with some young strong movers! All your butterflies are beautiful but my favorite is the Silver-bordered Fritillary butterfly on the poppy and with the purple flower. Stupendous!

Unfortunately our one mover’s friends are all out west, he is a recent arrival to our area. But things will work out, God never fails!
I like that same photo, thanks so much! That butterfly was very nice and allowed me to get a few different pics of it.ππΈπ·π¦
