From The Heights. #18

Good morning everyone! It is another cool morning but the sun is shining brilliantly. I just cannot see it at the moment due to the heavy fog that moved in a while ago and is hanging just above us. And it does block the sun unfortunately, but perhaps it will not last too long. The fact that it is sitting higher now is a good sign that it should soon be gone. I hope.

Especially since it is supposed to be cloudy again soon. Oh well. If the sun shines I will go for a walk, if it gets cloudy I will go for a walk. It is just nicer walking when the sun is shining. I keep hoping those 2 big bucks will come back, but I have not seen them since shortly after moving in here. There are 2 does and 2 fawns around, but no bucks.

Of course I could easily miss seeing them since I do not look out my windows all the time, and I cannot see the back of the building anyway. And if I did see them, by the time I got out there to take pictures, they would likely be gone. I know. It has happened with the does and fawns. Sigh. But I keep trying. Hmm, that fog seems to have turned into clouds now.

Well, I do have several things to do inside anyway. I want to put casters (wheels) on my TV cabinet, finally. That was going to be one of my August projects. But my move kind of got in the way of that idea. Making a proper laptop table is another one. That is a bit trickier now that I am living here since I need to saw wood. That makes noise.

Not that I need to do much and could have it all done in 5 minutes. I had some of the pieces already cut before moving. And putting it together does not require noise, at least, not enough to disturb anyone. I need to vacuum again today. Muffin absolutely hates the vacuum cleaner.

But she is sleeping in her new favorite tall bed, on one of my tall cabinets in the bedroom. She will sleep there all morning, or until I am finished vacuuming. I will share a few more pics of my apartment soon. Well, I hope you all have a wonderful day and God bless!
