For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Birds are calling in the trees,
They are back, soon it will freeze.
Beauty in red, gray and gold,
Colors muted, with some bold.
From tree to tree, they do fly,
Most in flocks, some low, some high.
As I walk, they chirp and sing
Melodies, they softly bring.
Always in each time of year,
These tiny birds, bring such cheer.
Flying about, joyful too,
Bring sunshine, for me and you.

You are welcome! It has been snowing much for quite a while. Birds, such as ravens, are around but not singing.

Oh my, more snow! We might get a bit of snow this week as the temperature dives quite a bit.

Enjoy the fall while you can. It is definitely winter and will be for months, here. It has not gotten below zero F but it will.

It was raining all day here and very dull, had to use lights all day. Leaves are falling fast now, and much cooler weather on the way! I’m glad we have no snow yet!ππΊππ

No snow means no icy surfaces. Hope the elevator works and you can take a walk. There is much beauty in your area to be enjoyed.

A poem has light and soft as a feather, quite fitting for the subject. I love it. Thanks Steve. Have a good Thursday.
