For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Good morning to everyone on this beautiful Wednesday! It was clear and sunny this morning and it looked so nice outside. It looked nice inside too. I love it when the sun shines in here, it makes the whole room shine with that brilliant golden glow. The bedroom is like that too, now that the sun is so low in the sky. Most of the year the sun doesn’t shine into the bedroom.
At least it looks like it will be that way. However, the clouds moved in rather early and it is now completely cloudy. Oh well, these things happen. It is still a beautiful day. The temperature even warmed up overnight, which is nice. Right now it is 28F (-2C) which is a nice mild temp for this time of the year.

A lovely sunset one afternoon last week.
Because of “El Nino” we are supposed to have a much milder than normal winter, with normal precipitation. I can handle that okay.
The other day there were 2 deer out behind our building, having some “whoopy” time and I managed to get a picture of them. The doe was a bit shy and hid her head behind a car. Other than that, it was nice of them to cooperate so I could get a picture of them.

I managed to get some new pics of Muffin as well, one when she found a new spot to sleep in my closet. She very much enjoyed sleeping on the sheepskin. Nice and soft and warm. She looked cute in there. I also got a pic of a nice sunset the other day, in the afternoon. It really was very beautiful, but did not turn out too well in the photo.
I really am quite tempted to cut a hole in that security netting so I can get some better photos from up here. Especially for some of these sunrise and sunset pics which are so amazing from up here. But do not tell anyone I said that. It will be our secret. Anyway, my table is coming along slowly. It is rather hard to do things here, but it is ready now for the primer coat of paint and then the blue paint to finish it off.

I am taking pics along the way and will show them once I am finished. Maybe. I am calling this my “farm table”, something that would have been common at one time, way back. It has a more “primitive” look to it, which is something I like. It matches many of the things I collect, like my “primitive” kitchen antiques, such as woodenware.
I will be painting the table blue, a color of blue that used to be called “colonial blue”, but they had to change that name, so I got the closest that I could find to that particular color. I think it will be nice. Well, that is all for now, time for another coffee, and I should go and check my mail too. The top featured image was taken Monday while it was snowing. Have a wonderful day and God bless!

True, deer are everywhere in this town.
Yes, and Muffin likes her new found bed,π» except that I keep closing the closet doors.πΎ
We can get some nice sunsets in this area, though mostly in the summer. Maybe just a small hole, about 30 by 30cm?ππΉπ·

I think you can take good photos without any holes π

It is often hard to catch up on sleep. I hope you manage to rest a bit this weekend.
