For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
WINTER GLEE 2
I’m walking down, this path I know,
I slip and fall, into the snow.
Into my boots, and down my back,
This cold white snow, it sure does pack.
I try to stand, upon my feet,
Shake off the snow, to get some heat.
I’m very cold, my feet are wet,
But I am only, half way yet.
Take off my mitts, to take some pics,
My hands are numb, they feel like sticks.
And now my mitts, fall into snow,
Step off the path, and down I go.
The snow is deep, up to my waist,
My legs are numb, can’t move in haste.
Now I decide, go back to car,
I’m really glad, that it’s not far.
But far enough, in such deep snow,
Next time, past 50 feet I’ll go.
Ah, winter time, we jump with glee,
But all that cold, just freezes me!

Delightful rhyming poem, Steve. It seems the snow is not your friend. โ๏ธโ๏ธ๐งฃ๐งคโโ
