Hi everyone! Here we are on the last day of 2023 and some of you have already entered the New Year. We have to wait a few more hours before it reaches us though. It is a beautiful day, sunny, and somewhat cool with a temperature of about 17F (-8C) and we still only have a light dusting of snow on the ground. Normally we would have quite a bit of snow on the ground by now. Apparently the New Year will begin with some colder weather too. Oh well, it is winter, even if it does not look like it.
Here is a picture of a small tree covered with frost from my trip out on Friday. I managed to get many nice frosty pictures that morning. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE! I hope it is a wonderful year for you all. God bless!

Steve, glad you got outdoors to get some photos yesterday. Happy New Year 2024, to you and Muffin! Enjoy your weather, although you could have more snow. Here in the Far North, we have gotten a couple feet of snow but have cold weather, -23 F or -31 C, better than the -30 F we has for seven days. It is dark most of the day but we are gaining light. The sun rises about 11 a.m. and sets about 2:30 p.m. The Northern Lights dance across the sky and the snow crunches. May God grant you unexpected blessings and joy in the new year.

We just have not had cold weather yet this winter and still no snow, which is nice in one sense, but we need a lot of snow or it will be dry next summer. Thank you so much! God bless you richly in the coming New Year!😊😺

Nice to hear. I was out today and it was chillier today. I think it’s only going to get colder. See how many more walks I get in regularly before Spring. You and Muffin enjoy your night😊
