For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Hello everyone! Well, it is time to grab a coffee and sit down, relax and chat a while. Not that I have anything much exciting to talk about, I guess, things just kind of move along at a slow pace these days. It is tax time, which means filling out a tax form and getting it filed on time. I will admit that I am not good at filling out forms.
I get stressed too easily with something like that. Then I make mistakes. Which brings these nice government tax people knocking on my door. It has happened to me before. It is not fun. Even though the first time it happened, the man was really quite nice and helpful and only checked back 5 years into my records.

My old winter walking path.
Fortunately I still had everything that was needed. And it turned out okay in the end. But it was still stressful. The second time it happened was a bit more stressful. The woman that showed up was, shall we say, not very nice.
And it was complicated by the fact that I was missing one item that she wanted to see. Naturally. That ended up being two very stressful days. Then another week waiting for the final verdict. It did turn out okay in the end too. But it was still stressful. So when it is tax time I get stressed. Naturally. So, this year I am getting someone else to do it for me. Less stress.

Another part of it.
What do you know, I just saw a Canada Goose fly past. Just one, which is a bit unusual. It would likely be a scout sent ahead to check on things. They do that. But normally there will be 3 or 4 of them that will come ahead of the main flock. Someone else had reported seeing a goose a few days ago already.
It has been very nice weather, and most of our snow is gone once again. So, birds will start to come back. It is cloudy today and not quite so mild. And it will be turning cooler beginning tomorrow. The next couple of weeks will be colder again. Naturally.

And we continue along the path.
But it was nice getting out walking on those nicer days. No ice to worry about. I will share a few more winter pics for you to enjoy today. Well, that is about all for today, have a great day everyone and God bless!
Steve and Muffin.
