For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
After Raymundo closed his club for the night and left, then it was time for The Wildcats to show up. Raymundo did not like using electronic security systems, too many things can go wrong with them he would always say. He does have a point with that thought, as we have found out. So, he likes to be old fashioned and keeps night guards on the property for protection instead.
That idea is okay with us, so we will just use our dart guns to put these guards to sleep this time. Next time might be different, if we need to return again, and we likely will be back again. I do not think that Raymundo will stop too easily. What bothers me more is the fact that there is another group involved in this fight and that could make things difficult for us and for Mandar’s team.
However, Mandar can call on more help from his security teams back home if necessary. There were a couple of dull security lights on when we got to the club, but there was no one in sight. Fridr, our new member from Iceland and someone who is excellent at opening locks of all kinds, was with our team and she had the front door open quickly. “Poor kind of lock for this door,” she said shaking her head.
There may be cameras around with someone watching so several of the girls went down the hall to check the offices down there. Only Raymundo’s office was locked and no one was in any of the others. Fridr had Raymundo’s office open quickly as well, but no one was in there either. “Someone coming Steve,” said Jennifer, so we all hid. Two men came upstairs from a short hallway behind the bar at one end. They were walking slowly, looking around.
Cynthia then stood up and shot one man and Dawn jumped up and shot the other. I sent 8 of the girls downstairs to look around and they found 2 more men which they quickly eliminated. We are still using our dart guns on each of the men. Catalina then used a small explosive to get into the hidden gambling room. There was a man in there too and he managed to get one shot before Hope shot him with her dart gun.
There was another office in there which we checked and discovered that is where the money went from the tables, before sending it to the basement on a little elevator. Down we went and easily found the large safe which was a time lock type and would not open again until noon that day. But, we came prepared with another invention from Kat which made the timing device in the safe move extra fast, and in 10 minutes it was open for us.
“He obviously doesn’t trust banks,” said Kera, “there is a lot of money in there. Plus other things.” The other things included a lot of jewelry that people lost gambling and I imagine that not many people were winners in here. Though I’m sure he let enough people win so that others would keep coming. We relieved him of all the jewelry and some of his cash. Jennifer then noticed something at the back of the safe and she removed a shelf revealing a small, locked drawer.
Fridr took a look and had it open in no time. Inside the drawer was a metal box which Jennifer took out and opened. “That is very nice indeed,” she said smiling. The box was divided into 3 compartments, separating diamonds, emeralds and rubies. “Shall we take this one too?” she asked me. “Most definitely,” I said smiling. We then went back upstairs and began smashing everything we could. We brought some handy “sticks” and metal pipes to help with this part.
However, when we opened that safe, it set off an alarm at Raymundo’s mansion, and for that alarm he always wanted to be awakened. He and his men were now on their way to the club. “Steve,” said Fridr, “there was a wire on that safe, which means an alarm was sent somewhere, likely to Raymundo.” “Okay everyone, time to leave!” I called out.
We went out, got on our new motorcycles and began to leave, just as Raymundo was arriving. “Says ‘Steve’s Wildcats’ on their backs,” said Felipe. Raymundo and his men went into the club and looked around. Raymundo was definitely angry, banging stuff and throwing things around. “How did they know we just got that shipment of rocks yesterday!?” he bellowed, “How?!” “Maybe just luck,” said Diego.
“I do not believe in that kind of luck!” growled Raymundo, “They knew, somehow they knew! Why do things happen in the middle of the night?” It was actually 6am. Raymundo went back home to bed and left Alfonso and Carlos behind to look after things. After having breakfast Raymundo returned to his nightclub and found things mostly back to normal. He went to his office, which we had left basically untouched.
“You did have such a terrible night, my dear Raymundo,” said Dabora, “and I do not have any good news for you either. I could not find out anything about someone wanting to take over your territory. I find that odd, since someone obviously does want it.” “That is odd, my beauty,” he replied, “you can always find me information.” “I checked all of my contacts, but no one has heard anything,” she sighed, “I did hear that there is a gang from Canada in the city right now, but he knew nothing more than that.”
“Hmm, that seems unlikely,” said Raymundo, “but try digging into that one anyway.” “Call for you boss,” said Alfonso, “it is that fat guy from last night. Says he has some information for you.” “The rest of you get out,” said Raymundo, “good morning Mandar, how may I help you today?” “I am able to help you perhaps,” said Mandar, “does a man named Diego work for you?” “Yeah, there is,” he replied.
“Well, my men were able to apprehend 3 men this morning,” continued Mandar, “unfortunately two of them were uncooperative, but one is still alive. These are the men who had beaten my friend. He told us that he works for a man named Diego who works for you, but also works for someone else who wishes to take over your territory.
They are an organization from Canada, odd as it may seem. The man told us that only Diego knows the name of this organization.” “Perhaps a group calling themselves, ‘Steve’s Wildcats’,” said Raymundo. “Are they here too?” asked Mandar…
To Be Continued.

There is much action going on right now. Steve’s Wildcats is making a splash but who is the unknown gang coming into Raymundo’s territory? You got quite a bit of money and jewels.

Yes, we began with a bang, hopefully we can stay that way so that Raymundo will think twice before trying to remove us. We also need to find out who else is in this game, then perhaps use that as a bargaining chip with Raymundo. I hope. Although he might be a bit on the angry side at the moment to talk.🤔👩😾🕵️♂️

I hope your strategy against Raymundo works. Who is the competition?

Yes, I hope so too. The competition? That we found out in last night’s chapter, and it is not good. This could cause problems for us, since the competition knows us. But is there possibly more competition yet? And why do others want Raymundo’s territory? What is so special about it? We need to find out.🤔🕵️♂️

Yes, there is always a motivation for encroachment on someone else’s territory.

And since Mike knows Hope very well, we will need to send Hope back and get someone else to replace her. Hopefully Mike will not remember the rest of us.

Hopefully, she won’t remember but she might have a good memory. If she does things will become difficult.

Somehow I think Mike has a very good memory, so we need to work fast on a trap for her.

Mike will need to be tricked, which will be difficult.

Yes, if we can just find out exactly when and how she will arrive, that would be a big help.🤔🕵️♂️

Might not be easy to anticipate her moves.

That is going to be a problem.
