Muffin’s Fun! #60

Hi, hi to everyone, it Monday time again and you know what that mean! It mean more fun for you to start working week time! My human up early again today so he can go shopping for some food. I told him he could have some of my food if he hungry, but he say no, prefer to have human people food. I have very strange human at times. He expect me to eat cat food, but he not willing to eat it. Why not, it full of vitamins and minerals he tell me. He keep telling me it delicious, but how he know it delicious if he not eat it? Hmm, think I need to do some investigationer type of work like we do in story. Need to find answers. Okay, here is funnies for today…

One day my mother was out and my dad was looking after me.

I was maybe 2 1/2 years old and had just recovered from a bad cold. Someone had given me a little tea set as a get-well gift and it was one of my favorite toys.

Dad was in the living room engrossed in the evening news when I brought Daddy a little cup of “tea,” which was just water.  After several cups of tea and lots of praise for such good tea, my mom came home.

Dad made her wait in the living room to watch me bring him a cup of tea. (“It’s just the cutest thing!”) My mom waited and sure enough, I came down the hall with a cup of tea for Daddy. She watched him drink it, then said (as only a mother would)…”Did it ever occur to you that the only place she can reach to get water is from the toilet?”

On HGTV, people can flip a whole house in a month. Meanwhile, I’ve been “getting ready to vacuum” for a week now.

“How was your golf game, dear?” asked Jack’s wife.

“Well, I was hitting pretty well, but my eyesight’s gotten so bad I couldn’t see where the ball went.”

“But you’re seventy-five years old, Jack!” admonished his wife, “Why don’t you take my brother Scott along?”

“But he’s eighty-five and doesn’t even play golf anymore,” protested Jack.

“But he’s got perfect eyesight. He could watch your ball,” Tracy pointed out.

The next day Jack teed off with Scott looking on. Jack swung, and the ball disappeared down the middle of the fairway.

“Do you see it?” asked Jack.

“Yup,” Scott answered.

“Well, where is it?” yelled Jack, peering off into the distance.

“I forgot.”

~ Jean will be leading a weight-management series Wednesday nights. She’s used the program herself and has been growing like crazy!

~ Boars of Trustees will be meeting Thursday evening at 8.

Weight loss goal: To be able to clip my toenails and breathe at the same time.
