Everyone, except Kat and Jennifer, fell to the floor immediately after Jennifer yelled danger, though Tracy had to pull Angel down since she did not seem to understand what to do. Kat called Matt right away, but before she could say anything Angel called out. “Phones, No!” she yelled, “Angelica!” Kat knew right away what that meant. “Phones off everyone,” she said, “use the mini communicators.” She then called Matt again.

“What happened Kat?” he asked. “Use the communicators,” she said, “Angelica has compromised our phones.” “Phones off guys,” he said, “communicators only now.” Kat then told him that Reggie was across the street shooting at them. That was one of the diversions that Angelica was using. Matt and the others were on their way quickly and Mac was soon going up the elevator of the office building across the street from the hotel.

The door was not locked, strangely, so Mac let himself in quietly until he was standing right behind Reggie. “Hey Reggie!” he said loudly. Reggie turned quickly and his eyes were wide when he saw Mac. “Remember me Reggie?” asked Mac. He then stabbed Reggie who then fell backwards out the window and fell 12 floors to the sidewalk below.

“Hey mom,” said Carolyn, “I just heard that the gunman across from the hotel fell out of the window on the 12th floor. But he had been stabbed first, though the person who stabbed him has not been found.” “It is those wretched girls at the hotel!” screamed Angelica, “They are going to ruin my entire plans, you wait and see!” She then went around the room throwing and smashing whatever she could. “They cannot stop you this time mom,” said Carolyn, “not without killing Steve, Sky and the others.

They will not want to do that. We will win this time, you wait and see!” “Are they all trained now?” asked Angelica. “Yep, and perfectly too,” said Carolyn, “once it is all over, Steve and the others will hand everything to you and then stand in a row while Sky kills them one by one. Then Sky will be put in charge of our sex trafficking, which is a brilliant move on your part.” “Yes, I like that part too,” she said, “the one who hated being a part of it before will now be in charge of getting more women involved in it.”

Both of the women laughed at the thought. “Now, are you sure that gas drug you have will work properly?” asked Angelica. “Sure will mom,” said Carolyn, “just two more doses of it and there is no turning back for any of them. I still would like to keep Steve for myself though, my own personal servant who would do whatever I tell him, without complaining. And everyone would know that Steve had turned bad.” “Hmm, that is a thought,” said Angelica, “okay, he is yours, do what you want with him.”

“Oh, thank you so much mom!” exclaimed Carolyn. So far things were working out well for those two. They actually had two other diversions in the large city, bombs in a large shopping center and a large fire in some warehouses. Then, at the actual location there were also bombs and a large truck that smashed through the wall of the large storage building and several men getting into a large gunfight with the security guards. Then they pulled out after a bit yelling to each other something about the artefacts.

The museum directors were very worried now since it was known that the artefacts were in town early and others may try for them too, or these people may try again. The museum just had nowhere to store such a large collection ahead of time, but one of the directors knew of a warehouse with armored walls that they could use, though it would be more expensive. But they voted on it and decided it would be the best place to put them.

Back to our girls again. “I have been thinking,” said Alizea, “what if Angelica was not planning to steal the artefacts from the trucks taking them to the new location? I just remembered setting up something similar for Mike, only Mike owned the final destination, and the gold shipment was brought right to her. So, she just loaded it onto her own trucks from there and drove it away. I got a good bonus for coming up with that one.”

The girls all looked at each other. “That would make the most sense,” said Kat, “but why did she need Steve and the others?” “Experiment.” said Angel, barely able to pronounce the word. “How did she get that bottle?” asked Kat. “Um, that was my fault,” said Pacca. “No,” said Cynthia, “it was my fault too. She looked like she was in distress, so we gave her one glass.” “And you put the bottle away afterward, right?” asked Kat.

“No,” said Pacca, “we left it beside her, but told her she could only have the one glass and she said okay.” “But I guess leaving it beside her was too much for her,” said Cynthia. “You can’t blame them entirely Kat,” said Amber, “they are both new. The rest of us should have been watching more carefully too.” “Yes, you have a point,” said Kat, “that idea of an experiment might be right. If it works then she could use it on the rest of us.” “Or anyone else,” added Jennifer.

“Hmm, that could give her a dangerous weapon,” said Galyna, “we need to stop her somehow.” “Midnight,” said Kat, “send a message.” Back home. Eeek! Eeek! and Snow came sliding into the library landing with a thud against Crystal’s leg. “Would someone please turn off that screeching cat?” asked Baldwin, “I am trying to get some work done.” Crystal picked her up. “What is wrong kitten?” she asked. She could control law enforcement in any given area without spending any money. She could even control all of us and turn us into a gang for her to use.”

Meowy.= One more, want permi, um, permis. “That is permission,” said Crystal. Meowy.= Yep, that it, permission to bring human ghost Angel home. “Just what we need,” said Baldwin shaking his head, “a drunk drug addict. There are a lot of places where she can get help if she really wants it. We don’t have the time or money for someone like that. The answer is no.” It went quiet in the room. “I know that mom and daddy would say yes,” said Honey, “so the answer is yes.” Baldwin looked up from his desk.

“I have the top authority here Honey, not you,” he said firmly. “No sir,” she said, “this chateau belongs to mom and daddy. They have top authority here. And if they do not return, then the chateau becomes mine, so I will have top authority here. The answer stays yes.” She said it quietly and nicely, but also firmly. Then walked out of the room. Meanwhile, “Steve, I love you,” said Carolyn. “I love you too,” I told her.

“I thought you loved Sky,” she said. “I thought so too, until I found out how horrible she was,” I said. “No need to worry gentlemen,” said Angelica, “these artefacts are safer here than in your own museum and I have one hundred men guarding the premises 24/7. I will also transport them to the museum at the agreed upon time. All for just $10,000 US, a definite bargain, since l like to help museums.” “Thank you so much Angelica…”
