For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
It is amazing sometimes where information will come to us, from very unexpected places, like from Jacquelyn (formerly TJ). I would not have thought she would know anything about Adamson, yet she told us several things which will be a big help to us. Jennifer relayed this information to Kat and she in turn told Matt. It was good for him to know these things before meeting Adamson for breakfast the next morning. It was an interesting breakfast for Adamson, wish I could have been there to see it.
Matt went in with John, Oskar and Burk. Matt went over and sat down at Adamson’s table while the other 3 sat at a table close by. Adamson had 2 men with him and three others at a table next to his. “You are not welcome at this table,” said one man as he got up to remove Matt. “Sit down,” said Matt, “or Adamson dies and I don’t think he wants to die just yet.” “Do what he says Earl,” said Adamson, “this man is right, I do not wish to die just yet. Of course this man would die also.”
“Perhaps,” said Matt, “but I doubt it. I won’t take up much of your time, my name is Matt Knight.” “Means nothing to me,” said Adamson as he sat back drinking his coffee. “I am the leader of an organization called the Knight Riders,” continued Matt, “I have been out of circulation for the past 5 years and I came around looking for one of my favorite nieces. But I found out that some guy has this outlandish idea that he owns her and has come to get his hands on her.
Such a dangerous thing to do I told myself, and it will not happen, not with Uncle Matt around. I know a lot about you Adamson. I know how wealthy you are, I know you are mixed up with sex trafficking and porn, you make your money from that. You like to use little children a lot, probably most of the time and you know something, my brother and I hate when people do that. We call them weaklings, cowards, beasts, bugs that should be stepped on and squashed.
A wise man would consider that and realize that Cynthia is not worth the trouble, or the risk.” “Is that a threat, Mr. Knight?” asked Adamson. “Threat is such a strong word,” said Matt, “advice would be a better word to use.” Just then Kat, and some of her Wildcats, came bouncing in like they always do, with Kat landing on Adamson’s table. “Uncle Matt, it really is you!” she exclaimed excitedly, “Kristy said she saw you and I just couldn’t believe it! I have missed you so much Uncle Matt!”
She then jumped down beside Matt and kissed him. “Did you miss me too?” she asked in her little girl voice. “Of course I did Sugar,” he said, smiling. “Would you mind taking your family reunion somewhere else?” asked Adamson, “Such tenderness makes me sick!” Kat looked over at him. “I don’t like your friend Uncle Matt,” she said. “And I do not like you,” he said, “not on our previous meeting and not today!”
“What does that mean, Uncle Matt?” she asked. “He is trying to say he has met you before,” said Matt. “I don’t remember him,” she said frowning, “and someone so grumpy I would remember.” “We met a couple of days ago at your chateau,” he said again, getting somewhat annoyed. Matt laughed a bit. “You must be thinking of her twin sister,” said Matt, “they are identical twins, though on opposite sides.”
“Oh, her, yeah, she is one of those goody types and is leader of some private investigator type cops along with our other sister,” said Kat. “Well, you two are equally annoying,” he said, “and you are a brat, so leave before I get angry.” “That did it Uncle Matt!” Kat exclaimed, “No one calls me a brat!” She then pushed the table and lifted it a bit so Adamson’s breakfast ended up on his lap and he then ended falling onto the floor. His men got up and took out their guns but quickly dropped them saying they were hot as fire.
“Aww, little men can’t hold their guns,” laughed Kat. Her Wildcats were now around Adamson’s men. “You will pay for this woman!” exclaimed Adamson. Matt got up to leave. “Just remember the advice I gave you Adamson,” he said. “And I know you want to take my cousin Cynthia to some bad place,” said Kat, “well, you better stay away from her! I don’t agree with her choice of friends, but she’s my cousin and I will fight anyone who tries to hurt her! And I sure ain’t afraid of a coward like you!”
Matt and the others had already gone by the time she said that. “Take that kid,” said Adamson and the two men from his table went to grab her. Kat let one of them do so and she quickly flipped him over onto his back and then kicked the other one in the stomach. The other Wildcats had gone back to sit down so Adamson’s other 3 men joined in the fight. They were no match for Kat, however, and all five men were soon lying on the floor groaning.
Kat held back from killing any of them this time. Adamson had discovered that his gun was no longer hot, so he aimed at Kat and tried to shoot, but nothing happened. “You and your little men are just plain stupid, Mr. Adamson,” she said. Then she gave him a hard back handed slap, knocking him off his chair. Then Kat and her Wildcats left the restaurant.
“Get me that Matt Knight!” exclaimed Adamson to his men, “And I want him in good condition, that way he will last longer when I torture him. And I want him today. And if you see any of those Wildcats, kill some. That will teach them a lesson they should understand.” “Matt, be careful,” said Kat, “Adamson wants you for a pincushion, today.” “Thank you Kat,” he said, “I will be extra careful.”
Later that morning. “Well, did you get him?” asked Adamson. “We will need a lot more men to get at him,” said Earl, “he has at least 25 or more men with him. And they are staying at one of the city’s best hotels too.” “Hmm, that is interesting,” said Adamson, “what about those Wildcats?” “We drove all around this city and never saw them anywhere,” said Earl, “but I guess we could have missed them somewhere. Or they may have gone out to visit Cynthia.”
“Yes, I thought of that possibility too,” said Adamson, “but keep an eye out for them and kill 2 or 3 of them if you can. They must be taught a lesson.” Adamson was eating his lunch at the same table when he was talking to his men. “He wants to teach us a lesson girls,” said Kat, “perhaps he is the one that needs another lesson, the first one didn’t work obviously. The next one needs to be more serious…”

A team is able to get information from unlikely sources. Jacquelyn has so much helpful personal information on Adamson.
Matt and Kat build on each others strengths and keep Adamson off bananas.

Yes, who would have guessed that Jacquelyn would have any information on Adamson? Matt and Kat do work very well together.π€π©πΎπ΅οΈββοΈ

Yes! Your newer divisions of teams cause the men and women to be more cohesive. Must be the maturity of Matt and Kat.

Matt, due to his previous life in the Russian FSB (I think that is right), has given him the ability to work with others, he just had to change his thinking a bit. But once he did, he really fit in well. And Kat really knows how to work with her girls and with others.
