For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Happy Sunday everyone! I’m a bit late once again and if this keeps up I will have to start calling this Monday’s Sunshine instead! Oh well, I did make it today anyway, although I think some of you are already welcoming Monday, even if you’re not welcoming Monday. Does that make sense? I think it does.

These wildflowers are called “Butter and Eggs”.
It is cloudy, cool with the temperature dropping all day, some showers now but this morning there was heavy snow flurries. The ground was wet though, so the snow melted as it hit the ground. There is a big snowstorm arriving which will hit the province next to us, which is not really far away, but it will miss us completely except perhaps for a few flurries again.

These tiny wildflowers grow about 3 inches (7.5cm) tall and are called Twinflower.
Strange that we would miss a snowstorm this time of the year. I don’t mind though, every day without snow shortens the winter. I hope you enjoy the two pictures I have for you today. Have a great day and God bless!

Hmm, nice flowers, but now is rather have snow. The amount and timing of snow does not make winter shorter or longer; just makes it feel that way!π

Perhaps in your area, but here snow normally arrives by Nov 1, so now winter is 18 days shorter than normal since we have no snow yet. That will change by the weekend though. Enjoy your week C A!ππΊβ

Beautiful sunny flowers! Thank you for sharing. Your weather sounds chilly. We have had snow on the ground about 6 or more weeks with lows of -20 F or -28.88 C recently and snow. Enjoy your respite from winter.

Oh my, that is too long already! Although it can happen here too at times but not since 2018 when our winter snow arrived on Oct 8. Snow is supposed to arrive this week, though not too much. Glad you enjoyed the flowers!
