For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Good morning everyone! It is a very mild Boxing Day here this year. Right now it is 28F (-2C) and should rise to 32F (0C) by this afternoon. Tomorrow and Saturday should be even milder, before returning to the cold temperatures of winter once again. Speaking of winter, today I’m showing a photo of our river from January 17, 2022.

Along the river on a cold January day.
This part of our river never freezes, no matter how cold it gets, but sometimes in the coldest weather ice will form along parts of the shoreline. Hopefully I can get back down to the river a few times this winter. I will try anyway. Happy Boxing Day everyone!

Today here is called St. Stephen’s Day and for us it is another holiday. We took the opportunity to take a nice walk on a small mountain from which you can enjoy a wonderful view of our lake. It was a beautiful day, I hope yours was too ππβ°οΈ

That walk sounds like it would be fantastic Rossana! Did you take some pictures too? Boxing Day is actually a holiday here too, but not for stores. Government, post office, banks, medical clinics, offices are all closed. We had heavy clouds and freezing drizzle and freezing fog that day so I stayed indoors and did some cleaning. But it was still a nice day.ππ»πβοΈπ

I wonder what happened to it? That has happened to other people’s comments too.
