Hi, hi everyone!😻 It Monday again and that mean it fun time again! It also good day for napping because it cloudy and snowing. Days like that are good days for napping. Sunny days are good days for napping too. Actually, all days are good days for napping. My human not understand this. He thinks daytime is for being awake and doing things. Like vacuuming with noisy machine.🙀 Right when I want to nap. That not nice. I let him know that last time.😾 It only 3 days and he not limping so bad already.😹 Maybe next time he think before bringing out vacuum machine. Anyway, here is fun funnies for today!

One day in the army I was assigned KP duty. I reported to the Mess Hall and was told by the sergeant in charge that he wanted me to make 100 gallons of soup for tonight’s dinner. I told him I didn’t know how to make soup. He quickly handed me a book and told me to follow the directions carefully.

Soon after I had a large kettle of soup simmering. The sergeant came up and tasted the soup. He took a second spoonful and stood there staring at me. I thought I had really messed up the soup and was waiting for a reprimand.

Instead the sergeant said, “This tastes really good… are you sure you followed the recipe?”

On a recent flight, an elderly passenger kept peering out the window. Since it was totally dark, all she could see was the blinking wing-tip light. Finally, she rang for the flight attendant.

“I’m sorry to bother you,” she said, “but I think you should inform the pilot that his left-turn indicator is on and has been for some time.”

Two vultures board an airplane, each carrying two dead raccoons. The stewardess looks at them and says, “I’m sorry, gentlemen, only one carrion allowed per passenger.”

Two boll weevils grew up in South Carolina. One went to Hollywood and became a famous actor. The other stayed behind in the cotton fields and never amounted to much. The second one, naturally, became known as the lesser of two weevils.

A group of chess enthusiasts checked into a hotel and were standing in the lobby discussing their recent tournament victories. After about an hour, the manager came out of the office and asked them to disperse. “But why?” they asked, as they moved off. “Because,” he said, “I can’t stand chess nuts boasting in an open foyer.”

~ Chocolate is a vegetable: Chocolate is derived from cocoa beans. Bean = vegetable. Sugar is derived from either sugar CANE or sugar BEETS. Both are plants, which places them in the vegetable category. Thus, chocolate is a vegetable.

~ To go one step further, chocolate candy bars also contain milk, which is dairy. So candy bars are a health food. Chocolate-covered raisins, cherries, orange slices and strawberries all count as fruit, so eat as many as you want.

~ If you’ve got melted chocolate all over your hands, you’re eating it too slowly.

~ The problem: How to get 2 pounds of chocolate home from the store in a hot car.  The solution: Eat it in the parking lot.

~ Diet Tip: Eat a chocolate bar before each meal. It’ll take the edge off your appetite, and you’ll eat less.

I wish there was a knob on the TV to turn up the intelligence. There’s one called brightness, but it doesn’t seem to work.

That last one must be old joke, me not see knobs on TV anywhere. I ask my human and he say TV used to have knobs. I ask what he do with them. He say TV not have knobs. I tell him he say that TV used to have knobs. He say TV did used to have knobs. I ask again what he did with knobs. He say nothing, TV not have knobs. My human not going to enjoy afternoon.😼😮

    No, I’d like my Grandson to visit, he’s the only one who hasn’t been here yet to visit. But I’m getting pushback from other family members. It may need to wait until another time, we’ll see. Okie Dokie, nap well give a pet on the head for me. TTYL 😀

    • Yes, that is so true. We have to determine if she wants to be rescued, hopefully without being caught. That’s where our ghosts come in handy. But chapter 2 will tell us more about whether or not she might want to be rescued.

    • You’ll catch on fairly quickly. Remember that Kat, Jennifer, Sky, Angel and Carine are now ghosts. Jennifer is my wife now. It is a large team now. The Bad Girls team was begun with 6 French girls from Quebec who were all called bad girls before we met them, so the name stuck. There’s actually 7 of them now.

    • Good morning Dusty. Nope, no baking and it’s warmer today, only -23! And going up to -5. But it’s going to get colder again and then start to warm up next Wednesday to more normal temps for February. Up early, got my laundry done, published one post already, or Muffin did really. Not bad to start the day.😊❄️

    • It was one of those kind of days that ended up being a bit mixed up. I didn’t even post anything yesterday. Muffin got her post done early today. Got my laundry done early, was down there at 4am! A guy snuck up behind me and made me jump 2 feet in the air. I must learn to pay attention. Amazing how many people are up and going out or coming in between 4 and 5. I just finished my morning nap and sent you a message, almost fell asleep again. Cooking a chicken as we speak.😋😺

  10. Yum!😋 Yes, one needs to be very aware these days of others around them. There is one guy here that takes his dog for a walk, and seems like always takes in between mine and the neighbors trailer. I don’t know why because there is a large open area closer to where he lives. Strange people. 🤪

    • Chicken is done! I’m having fun! It’s a sunny day and I’m thinking of May! This guy here likes to have fun. Usually I hear him coming but sometimes he catches me and makes me jump!🙄😂

  13. It’s 60 degrees, and the winds in Rio Hondo are steady at around 10 mph. So it should not be too bad. I’ll do my best to avoid the cactuses and other planes.😂😂

  14. Hehehe 🫢🫢🫢 it’s very comfy temps. And I did not visit any cactuses either. All three planes came home looking like they did when I left!😛 I am going through the videos right now to see how i did flying.

  19. Sorry, i was on the phone with my pharmacy. I need to have them mail it to me from MN. Not much, honestly, probably just watch the Ground squirrels (aka Gophers) play basketball at 3 pm. Then, find a movie or just enjoy a libation under the car port.

    • Good morning Dusty! How’s things today? They had forecast a low of -44 for last night, but it only got to -38. Mostly sunny today, another cold one tonight though.🥶❄️☕

    • Yep, by next weekend we should have normal temps once again. I thought you might be out flying today, or sunning yourself on the beach. Have ya been catching up on The Investigators??🤔🕵️‍♂️😊☕
