It was time to check out that door by the pool, but since all exterior doors are locked at night, that makes things rather difficult. But, there is Plan A, which we began to put into operation that evening. That was when we pretended to look for something in one of our cars. While we did that, Sky and Angel came along and hid in the car, along with their cats Storm and Tracker.

They will wait until everyone is asleep before opening that door. However, that door likely is hooked up to an alarm system too, hopefully the same alarm system, that way it won’t be noticed. Kat and Carine, while on their searching tour, will deliberately set off the alarm at the offices. They will be invisible while doing this so they don’t get caught. Once setting off the alarm, they will rush back to our room.

Sky and Angel will open the outside hidden door while the alarm is ringing, or doing whatever it does, and hopefully they will find the prison. Getting back out again won’t be quite so easy. But we do have a Plan B, if necessary. At precisely 1am the alarm sounded all through the hotel. It was a high pitched whistle sound, along with regular clanging of alarm bells and even a siren in the office area.

That tells me that the alarm is different in certain areas of the hotel, making it easy to pinpoint the problem area. But that idea was quickly shot down since all were sounding off at the same time. Oh well, my thoughts about things are not always correct. Well, maybe “seldom correct” would be a better way to say it. Sigh. Anyway, Kat and Carine were quickly back in our room, along with their cats.

The alarms were soon stopped and there was a loud knocking on our door. Kat opened the door and 3 hefty men tried to push their way in past Kat. That didn’t work so good for them. I told Kat to allow them to come in, but they were to stay by the door. She told them what I said, then let them come in. They started walking away from the door, however, so I told them to stop.

“We are the resort security,” growled the one man, “we have the right to come in and check your room.” “Check our room for what?” yelled Sienna, “You get out of here now!” “Shut up lady and stay in bed while we look around,” he growled again. “Kat, teach them some manners,” I said. “Gladly Steve,” she said.

A few kicks later and they were all on the floor, groaning, and Kat took their guns away from them, plus their phones. She then tossed the phones to Jennifer and she wiped the phones clean, of everything. Meanwhile, Sienna had called the manager and the police. However, the police refused to do anything since it involved the resort security.

So, I called Rossana and she called back in a few minutes saying the police would be arriving shortly. The manager came knocking on our door first and we let him in. Sienna complained about these men bursting into our room for no cause, disrupting our sleep and began looking around when the women were not dressed properly.

“Bad publicity from me can sink your resort faster than if it was sitting on quicksand!” she yelled, “Just what are these men supposed to be looking for in our room anyway? Are you searching all the other rooms too?” The manager was apologizing constantly saying his men should never have come into our room and no they were not searching all of the rooms.

“Then why are you searching our room?” Sienna demanded, “What is that you think we stole from you? Why are you blaming us for anything? The police will soon be here to pick up these men and I will be formally laying charges against them in the morning.”

The manager went silent for a bit when he heard that, then apologized some more and saying there was no need for the police and he would refund Sienna’s money for our stay, due to this terrible inconvenience. Sienna agreed to that, providing there were no more such incidents. She also told the manager that perhaps he needs to get his alarm system updated, it may be malfunctioning. He agreed with her, then he and his men left our room quickly.

Meanwhile, Sky, Angel and the two cats opened the outside door we found yesterday by the pool, at the time all the alarms were sounding. Behind that door was a tunnel, which they quickly followed, the cats going first. They soon came to a split in the tunnel. Storm went a short way past the split and stopped, then he came back and went into the other tunnel and stopped.

Meowr.= We go this way. So, off they all went and soon they were at a steel door which was locked. “The alarms are still sounding,” said Angel, so Sky opened the lock on this door and in the went to a large room with jail cells along the walls and in the center of the room. It was almost completely dark in there, but that didn’t matter to Sky and Angel, they could see just fine, and so could the cats.

They looked around and sure enough, there was Kristina. Sky had the cell door open quickly and she checked Kristina who was very weak. She had been beaten and that meant she lost a lot of her energy. They needed to get her out quickly so Kat could begin working on her. Angel got down on her hands and knees and Courage the lion was ready for action.

Sky helped get Kristina onto the back of Courage and then held her so she would not fall off. They went out the steel door, down the tunnel and to the exterior door. Storm and Tracker pressed buttons on their collars and they went invisible. Sky and Courage also went invisible, which automatically made Kristina invisible too. Sky hoped that the alarm would not go off again when she opened the door from the inside, however, it did…

  1. Well, that was the easy part!!🥴 Now what? How will you get her somewhere safe without tipping off the owners when you leave abruptly?🤔 That could put all of you at risk.🫣😬

    • Yes, now what? We can’t leave just yet, we have to find out how they got Kristina’s body and brought her back to life. Since Dr. W. is dead, this should be an impossible task, yet it was done. That is a dangerous thought. If one of our enemies has discovered a way to do this, we are in big trouble. Everyone would be in big trouble, since whoever is in charge around here could make his own army of “ghosts” that could not be stopped. We have to stop this right away. Right now we need to get Sky, Angel and Kristina, plus the cats, back inside the hotel, somehow, without getting caught. Then we need to go back into that prison and look around some more. 🤔👩😼👻🦁🕵️‍♂️

  2. Going back in??😲 that just sounds crazy! You just got her out of there!! Besides, you’re not even out of the resort! Maybe you should leave and send the ghosts back in to look around… they would at least be able to come and go more easily!🤨

    • Well, only our ghosts would go in and now that Sky has been inside, she doesn’t need to use the doors anymore, just go in and she can take one other ghost with her, or perhaps me. We have to stay for a couple of days anyway, we will find out why in today’s chapter.🤔🕵️‍♂️

  7. What a scene, your team going to the prison while the resort guards try to intimidate those in the guest room. Alarms going off and Kristina is rescued but you are all in the resort that is controlled by an unknown enemy. Getting out the tunnel door is not as big of a problem as leaving the resort with everyone and no one getting killed. Sienna’s life is in great danger, not to speak of the team and Steve. The criminals are making money ad do not want their cash cow stopped.

    • There are many questions that need some answers. Like, who owns this resort? Fabien is just the manager, we need to know who the owner is. How did these people get Kristina’s body? How did they revive her? Dr. W. is dead, but did he have someone working with him? If so, he needs to be stopped before he makes an army of ghosts. Yes, these people are making money by kidnapping, blackmail and whatever else. Yes, leaving here will not be easy, but we do have a plan for that. 🤔👩😼👻🦁🕵️‍♂️

      • Many questions and unknown in this case. The kingpin behind all of this needs to be found promptly. Who is making the ghosts? This a question of paramount importance.

      • Yes, we definitely need to find the person behind all of this and stop him/her quickly. And whoever is working to bring ghosts to life must also be stopped, permanently. We need to free the other women in that prison too, whoever they are and whatever their purpose.🤔👻🕵️‍♂️

  12. No, no surfing today. To sore!😫 She is staying until Tuesday now. The airline canceled her return flight for today, and the next available flight was Tuesday afternoon. I guess it was due to the flooding they had. They got like 14 inches of rain in one night, so everything was still flooded.

    • Wow, that’s a fair bit of water coming down!
      Getting back onto that surfboard quickly is essential, forget the aches and pains! I heard that on a movie once. Didn’t have a good outcome for the poor guy though, so you might not want to try it. You’re supposed to take these things slooooowly.🤔😃Like reading last night’s chapter instead. Things are heating up!🤔🕵️‍♂️😊

  14. I don’t know about that….🤔 I think maybe she’s sticks to surfing 🏄‍♀️ 🌊 and takes lessons from an instructor..😂😂 I’ll stick to flying and crashing into cactuses! 🌵 it’s easier to fix an rc plane than it is to fix me!😂😂

    • Hmm, that might make sense too. Of course, a person needs to live close to the ocean, lakes don’t generally have big enough waves for surfing. Maybe you should try crashing into trees instead of cactuses, might be safer.🤔

  15. Hmmmm…. I can tell you from past experience, that cactuses are much better to crash into than a tree 🌳 😅 but not crashing at all is better than both!

    • Yep, time to shop once more. I could buy more at a time and not go shopping every week, but I prefer to buy enough for just a week at a time. Unless there’s a good sale on something. I have a couple other things to do tomorrow as well.

  18. Hi ya! How ya doing? Ugh… what a week?🥵😵 I got my granddaughter sent off on Tuesday, and then it was time to figure out my tax bill and monthly bills without triggering another huge tax bill next year! Then, on top of that, my daughter (granddaughters mother) the one getting divorced and living in my mn home needed money to rent her own place so I have somewhere to stay when I head back to MN. I hope this next week is much slower and quieter than last week! I haven’t been ignoring you just trying to get my arms around things in my life, so I have time to spend visiting with others, like you!😁 How was your week?

    • Hey there Dusty! Nice to hear from you again. Sounds like you had a fun week, but got things done anyway. I still need to get my taxes done, so next week I will do that, time is rushing by too fast and less than a month to go. Typical week for me, nothing too exciting.

    • Yep, has to be done by the end of the month.
      A new story has begun tonight.
      I won’t be able to stick around tonight, I still have to make the bulletin for church, then get to bed so hopefully I can get some sleep.🥱 Haven’t hardly slept all week. Sigh. But I’ll be back after church tomorrow!😃

    • It’s only 28 here today and cloudy, a bit on the chilly side, but not bad. It says your comment came in an hour ago but it just showed up a few minutes ago. Sigh. Watching a race? Turtles? You should read instead. Hint, hint.😃 I’m looking forward to some warmer weather so I can get outside more.😊🌞

  23. Well, I did eat, almost fell asleep but I didn’t go away.😉 I had to watch the final episode of Yellowstone 1923. It eas very sad, very good, but a sad ending.

    • I am used to it, for early March, but this is the middle of April after all!!
      Yep, all done, except for the stuff they didn’t have, which was 20% of my list. So I did okay. I even bought stuff that wasn’t on my list, so that’s better than okay!😃

    • I keep saying I should make some cupcakes again but then I say I should make some cupcakes again and then I say I should make some cupcakes again and… Sigh. One of these days. I’m still working on my spring cleaning and sorting and tossing and it’s taking way too long. I bought 2 more plants so need to repot them. Perhaps tomorrow, or tomorrow or… Sigh.🙄😂

  27. No, no flying today, I went house shopping again today. I flew yesterday and went house hunting. I’ll probably go fly again on Friday morning if the winds cooperate.

  28. Yeah, it’s a mixed bag, really. The pricing is really right on the new builds, but the existing homes is kind of a crap shoot. My concern is getting in the right neighborhood. Building new is looking more likely right now, just because I can control the budget a bit more. But, I will need to get an appraisal on the MN place so I know for sure what I will have for money to work with, and that can’t happen until I get back up there maybe the end of next week, or maybe the following week. So, how did your day go yesterday and today?

    • There are advantages to building new, that’s for sure. Although up here it is much more expensive to build than to buy an existing home. I haven’t been on my computer much the last couple of days, concentrating on some other things for a bit. Got most of my spring cleaning done now, and rearranging things. Catching up on some sleep too which has been nice.

    • Yep, amazing how different a place looks by just moving things around a little. And this is my first major change since moving here 19 months ago. So, it was time. Chapter 4 is now out. Is it wise to trust Manuela or did we make a mistake? We are about to find out.🤔🕵️‍♂️

  30. Yes, I know you are taking quite a chance 😬 she could easily throw the girls under the bus! But, something tells me she’s not going to. Her greed for more territory and money will prevent her from doing anything that would jeopardize that arrangement.

    • Yes, we are definitely hoping that greed wins out this time. And hopefully the cats with Courage can get our photos quickly for us too, without being spotted. Although Courage can’t be killed, the cats can be.

  32. Warm and sunny 🌞 down this way. I was out and about town this mid day. I don’t know if you have Charter/Spectrum cable or internet, but if you do… good luck trying to cancel or return equipment!😖 I had to return some equipment today, ugh, sigh 😕 I was at one time number 20 in the question at the store just to return two small devices!🫣😣 So, that’s why I missed you at lunch time today. How was your day?

    • No, we don’t have those here, but I have had the same problem with trying to return equipment to my former provider. There is no drop off place in town anymore, so it must be arranged on the phone for them to pick it up. I have tried several times, no luck, so it still sits here. I figure if they really want it, they will get in touch with me, but I’m not calling again. Great day, hit 50 today and sunny, no wind, only patchy snow left now. I’m not feeling well today though, so couldn’t go out.😞🌞

    • Some people are just those that it’s impossible to get used to, because they don’t want it. She has only been here a month and already she is spreading gossip about some people in here that are very nice, but she heard things from others and she is passing that on. Oh well, there are all kinds around in this building, some nice, some strange but harmless (like me😂), some bad, some scary. The police were here a short time ago looking for someone, again.🙄

    • Oh my, I slept in so late this morning, I thought the laundry room would be full of people, but no one was there. Whew. I didn’t wake up until 4:15! Yep, that’s where we met, although she wasn’t doing laundry, but no one else was around, so I was a captive audience, she stood in front of the door so I couldn’t escape! 😂 Sigh.
      Well, time to sleep again.🥱 I didn’t get a new chapter out today, couldn’t think, but there will be one tomorrow. Have a good night, I will chatter again tomorrow!😃

    • Yep, I spent a bit of time outside after church, then came in for lunch and a nap. My notifications are not working so I didn’t see this right away. Sigh. Yeah, tomorrow’s high should be around 32.🙄☔

  44. A little better, still not quite right, but better. Im leaving on Wednesday for MN. SO, Now I’ve got tomorrow to finish packing and prepping this place for the summer.

    • Nothing like leaving it to the last minute! Shopping was normal, my right leg was bad all day, this weather really made it stiff, which made it hard to walk around. You’re missing out on all the action packed chapters!😮🙀🕵️‍♂️

  45. Well, not really last minute, its just that yesterday took that spare time away. I’m driving so it will take 2 days. I’m stopping over night to rest and sleep. I can’t drive all night like I used to. My daughter is moving into her new apartment this week and my house should be open when I get there there. I will be reading and catching up, don’t worry.😉😁

    • Yeah, I know what you mean about driving, though I don’t drive anymore, I know I couldn’t do it now. Sounds good, a summer by the lake listening to the goons, I mean, loons. Oh good, whew, had me worried.😃🕵️‍♂️

      So, how’s things today? A bit warmer and sunny today, but still cold, 39 right now but still a cold north wind. All the snow we got yesterday, about 2 inches, has melted though and that’s good.😊🌞

  48. Hi, how are you today? Well, I made it back to the frozen tundra 😒 with a high of only 48 degrees 🥶 that was a very long drive 🚗 🥵 a couple of 10+ hour drives🤕. I am now thoroughly convinced they no longer teach drivers training anymore!😖 But I am still alive!🤸🤸‍♀️
