Good morning to all of you!😻 My human say it not morning, it afternoon now. But I just woke up, so that mean it morning. When my human wake up he say it morning, so why it not morning when I wake up? He say because it afternoon when I wake up. I ask how he know it afternoon. He show me clock. He say to look at little letters. I look, there is a P and a M. What that mean? He say that spell afternoon. I laugh. I not know how to spell afternoon maybe, but I know there is no P or M in afternoon. He trying to pull my tail, that all. He say no, PM is short for afternoon. He then scream. I tell him that is short for biting back of leg.😹😹 Here is funnies for today…

ACTUAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL EXCUSE NOTES

* “Jerry was at his grandmother’s yesterday, and she did not bring him to school because Jerry couldn’t remember where the school was.”

* “Ronnie would not finish his work last night. He said his brain was too tired of spelling.”

* “Eric hurt his knee in a karate tournament over the weekend. He won his age group, but was in too much pain to do his math assignment.”

* “Amy did not do her homework last night because we went out to a party and did not get home until late. If she is tired, please let her sleep during recess time.”

* “Henry stayed home because he had a stomach ache from eating too much frosting.”

* “It was my fault Mike did not do his math homework last night. His pencil broke and we do not have a pencil sharpener at home.”

* “Scott didn’t practice last night because he lost his tooth in the mouthpiece of his trumpet.”

* “Diane was late on Wednesday. She fell asleep on the bus and was taken back to the bus yard.”

* “Cody was absent yesterday because we were out bowling until 2 AM.”

* “Tommy wasn’t in school yesterday because he thought it was Saturday.”

I am certain the me that buys groceries and the me that actually cooks are two entirely different people.

If you can’t handle me randomly blurting out song lyrics that relate to what you just said, we can’t be friends.

I avoid stairs. They’re always up to something, and at other times they really get me down.

======

My husband, Ray, was attempting to build a patio for the first time. He bought 100 cement blocks. Laying them out in a pattern, he discovered the chosen area was too small.

He stacked the blocks against the house and cleared more space. The next day Ray put the cement blocks back down, only to find that the ground was too hard to keep the patio level.

He ordered a truckload of sand to be delivered the following morning. Again he stacked the 100 blocks against the house.

Observing all this, our next-door neighbor asked, “Ray, are you going to put your patio away every night?”
