  1. You finally shared your location of the Philippines. Nothing much in the story gave clues to the location other than being warm and having beaches and hiking trails. The main characters were not from the location so it was a mystery.

Steve did get a little rest amid all the issues with Whitaker and his criminal gang. The revenge on Whitaker was perfect so his got the natural consequences of his actions. It was satisfying to see that the other thief did not get away with the jewels and will have to face the courts.

Your shopping for Jennifer and Celestine was hilarious and brought laughter. A hat or a coffee mug. Hats do vary a bit around the world.

Celestine’s house sure sold quickly. Was it someone thinking that there would be more gems in it?

The refresher course should be good and interesting.

    • Yes, I was deliberately keeping everyone guessing until the very end. Admittedly, at the beginning of the story I wasn’t sure if it would be in the Philippines or Indonesia, but decided on the destination at about chapter 4. Yes, the characters were American, evidenced by Whitaker’s club in New York City.

We decided it would be better for one criminal to deal with another, then let the police take over. Hopefully this man will stay behind bars, not just for theft, but for murder as well.

Yep, I’m not a good shopper for women, no doubt about that! Yes, Celestine’s house sold fast, but it did come furnished with antiques and she kept the price lower to sell it faster. She just wanted to get out of there and be done with all of it.

We just need to find time for this new course, it might need to be done a little at a time.πŸ€”πŸ‘©πŸ˜ΌπŸ‘»πŸ•΅οΈβ€β™‚οΈ

      • Yes, that’s very true, it might just be the best way of doing things. One big thing we need to learn is listening to each other, even if it seems to be something trivial, like Storm and his brochures.πŸ€”πŸ˜ΊπŸ•΅οΈβ€β™‚οΈ

      • Oh my, that is so true! People can be so addicted to their phones these days that it can be impossible to talk with them. That is why there are strict usage rules for the Investigators.

On a personal level, I have had a couple people get quite angry with me the last two weeks because I don’t have my phone in my hand to answer their texts right away. Sigh.
