The Investigators, Inc. The Case of Richard’s Family. Chapter 10. Black Swan Fight.

Things were going quite well at the Black Swan and back at the hotel room the rest of us were relaxing. Misty, Aasta, Angel, Celestine and myself were in the room and Celestine was lying on the bed beside me, which Jennifer had told her to do. Now, it was kind of hard for me right now because I had to explain to Celestine about some things that I had been keeping secret from her. I really did have a hard time when I was with her on the island and she was counseling me and we were able to talk quite openly about so many things.

Yet, some things I had to keep secret because of our rules and it made me think I was lying to her, and it was very hard. It hurt. She was being so nice to me and helping me and doing so much for me. It hurt that I couldn’t be totally honest with her. So, explaining this now was very hard for me to do. All the girls were listening to my explanation of things, about our ghosts, even about me, though I still don’t consider myself a ghost like the others.

Meanwhile, back at the Black Swan. Things were going quite well for our team and although most of the people working at the Black Swan were listed as normal employees, that was not really the case. Most of them were Tobias’ men, they had guns, some even had automatic weapons. And all of them knew how to fight and when there guns failed to work, they did fight. However, the Bad Girls and the Wildcats took care of fighting those men and they had a lot of fun with them too.

They enjoyed getting some real fighting exercise for a change. And, they didn’t lose even one fight. Those girls were jumping all over the tables and doing their acrobatic maneuvers over and around people. Then 6 of Dinah’s men came out on the upper level walkway and leaned on the metal railing with their automatic weapons and getting ready to shoot. But Katresa called to Sky and pointed out the men. “How convenient of them,” said Sky, and she tossed a large lightning ball which hit the metal railing, killing all 6 men.

“Dinah is mine,” Jennifer said to Kat. “Fine with me sis,” she said, “you want the office which is right up there on the upper level.” Jennifer ran for the spiral staircase leading up to that level, but 2 of Dinah’s men met her about half way, with guns ready. They shot several times but Jennifer just kept coming and when they met she held onto the railing and swung her feet high kicking both men in the head and knocking them over the side and onto the floor below.

“Don’t worry Dinah,” said Tobias, “we are completely safe in this room. That’s a heavy steel door and the walls have steel on the outside of them. Then we have Gordon, Al and Derrick with their guns, and we each have a gun.” “I always worry when I don’t know what is going on,” said Dinah, “Steve wants to destroy us, all of this is his fault and he is going to pay!” Suddenly the heavy steel door opened with a loud smashing sound and in walked Jennifer.

Everyone aimed their guns at Jennifer. “So, we’re safe in here you said,” exclaimed Dinah, “then how did she get in?” “I’m Jennifer,” she said smiling, “and you are finished Dinah. Attacking my husband like you did was going too far, now you can fight me.” Dinah shot several times but Jennifer just stood there smiling at her. “You can’t kill me Dinah,” said Jennifer, “because I’m already dead and you can’t kill a dead person.” “I told you there was something strange about those people!” yelled Dinah.

“You men put your guns on the floor and back away from them,” said Jennifer. “Make us lady,” said Derrick. “I was hoping you would say that,” she said. Right away they yelled and dropped their guns because they were too hot. Then Jennifer attacked the three men and killed them all very quickly with 2 kicks each. Dinah ran for the door but Jennifer stopped her with a kick to her side, knocking her against the wall. “You sit on that desk and don’t move,” Jennifer told Tobias.

He immediately sat there, still as could be. Dinah got up but Jennifer kicked her once more, again knocking her against the wall. Then Dinah saw a baseball bat on the floor beside her and she picked it up and swung it several times at Jennifer, missing each time. Finally Dinah was getting tired and Jennifer took the baseball bat from her and broke it, at the thickest part. “Cheap wood,” said Jennifer. Tobias’ mouth was wide open when he saw her do that. Two more kicks and Dinah was lying on the floor, dead.

Then Rock showed up and told Tobias to open his safe. When he saw the size of Rock, he opened that safe very quickly. “Look at all the money in here,” said Rock, “I wonder how much I should take?” “Whatever you can fit in that bag of yours,” said Jennifer. “Hey, good idea Miss,” he said. “It’s Mrs.” said Jennifer. She was trying to distance herself from the Black Wolves. “Oh, look at this nice box here,” said Rock. “Let me see that,” said Jennifer, and Rock handed it too her.

“Hey, you can’t take that,” said Tobias, “those gems are worth a lot of money.” “If the lady wants them, she can have them,” said Rock, scowling at Tobias. “Oh, yeah, of course she can,” said Tobias weakly. “Now, where are Delena and her kids?” asked Jennifer. “Dead. Dinah killed them with her brain killer machine,” said Tobias. He was getting very nervous now. While this was going on, the last two of Dinah’s ten men came out onto that upper level walkway and Kat spotted them.

She went bouncing and flipping across the room and in one jump was on the walkway next to the two men. She then started kicking one man and flipped him over the railing to the floor below. Then she did the same thing to the other man. That was the last of the fighting and everything was now very quiet. Then the Black Wolves got their clubs out and began smashing everything they could.

Carine then communicated with me that it was time and I called the police. Our teams were all outside when they heard the sirens coming, so they dropped all the bags containing people’s wallets and jewelry which the police were able to recover and return to the owners. The people that had been waiting outside had all gone by this time. The police even had a search warrant with them and they arrested Tobias for sex trafficking.
