  1. There was quite the infestation of fear and murder caused by people who should have been trustworthy. No one said anything as so many were erased. No history of their existence was left.

Did Steve get paid for Ivy’s house and the house that was built on her land? It does not seem that she was paid. Greed seemed to be the motivation of the folks running this town. I doubt the government will be able or willing to change the character of this town. If I was a residence of this town, I would leave as quickly as possible. There are too many traitors and criminals running things. Many were killed but the corruption runs deep.

Hope you all get to celebrate Christmas but it is doubtful you will get to be home for this holiday.

    • Yes, this town was thoroughly infiltrated by criminals and it won’t be easy to change that. People were scared that their lives would be erased as well, so they did and said nothing.

Yes, Vincent paid the $800,000 from the money found in Scott’s second safe. That happened in chapter 8. Yes, I would flee that town quickly now that the police have come. However, trying to sell houses in that town now might be a problem. This town needs to be erased.

Yes, somehow I doubt we will have a quiet Christmas celebration, something will come along! 🤔👩😾👻🕵️‍♂️

    • That is so true. By the end of the week we could be down to -40 to -45, not exactly fun stuff. But until this week the winter has been quite nice really, only minor cold. We even had some record warm days earlier this month, above freezing, with rain. Now, of course, everything is icy. And cold, or did I mention that already?🤔

    • Hi, I’m here! It’s cold here today. My nurse just left, she was a little late getting here today, busy day. By the way, it was cold here today and getting colder tonight.

  2. It’s supposed to be the same here also. It rained pretty much all day here. I hope this all passes quickly for everyone! This is just crazy cold 🥶 😳
How are you today? (Besides being frozen)

    • I’m tired, the guy across the hall was having a fight with his girlfriend and he locked her out. She has her own apartment anyway, but she insisted on staying in the hall, banging on his door and yelling. That started at 12:13am and ended at 2:06am when he finally let her in. Sigh.

    • It doesn’t help to complain, I tried before, they just say there isn’t anything they can do, which is true. They suggest calling the police, but that means putting in an official complaint which gets complicated, but without it the police can’t do anything either. Sigh.

    • It was mostly his girlfriend making all the noise. I did try the last time this happened, didn’t really help except for a short time. The building management did try to evict this woman, but they lost their case against her.

    • Yep, not a bad idea. Well, let’s see, looking after my ever expanding indoor garden, sorting through all my stuff and getting rid of a lot. I have even managed to sell some of my antiques lately. Still sorting through my photos too, that’s a slow process. And, it’s tax season so I have been working on our church finances so we can get tax receipts out to people.

    • All they have is bingo and I’m not interested in that. They have a coffee time on Tues afternoon but it’s the same 8 ladies gossiping about everyone else in the building. Not interested in that either. Then there’s blogging, and writing my book, plus sorting my photos and I’m not even a fifth done on that. Takes a while to sort out 110,000 photos. Then I have some sewing to do, I’m making new cushions for my reading bench. I much prefer being by myself, always been that way. I do get together with another guy for coffee regularly, he’s about the only sane guy in this place, except when he starts talking about seeing ghosts.

  3. Oh! He’s been reading the investigators!😂 You should tell him it’s not real.🤭
I get the bingo and coffee stuff. I’m the same way also. If I had a plane to work on everyday I would be very happy.

    • Yep, maybe that’s it. But he really is serious about this ghost stuff. Otherwise he is very nice.
Yep, that’s one problem with living here, I can’t really do any woodworking, though I might have an idea. hehehe!
But my new, very large, indoor garden takes up a lot of my time. I even have a couple of rare plants now.
So, how was your day? Out flying?🤔

  4. I didn’t do much today. My plane is done and now I have to wait until the weather gets nice again. By that I mean be warm enough I don’t shake like a leaf and the wind is below 110 mph!! No, just below 10

    • Yeah, you might need to use some de-icing fluid if you fly in this weather, I mean your weather. It hit -45 with the windchill today. It actually got colder throughout the day.

    • Good question. The actual temperature without the windchill could hit -40 so it could go below -50 overnight and it’s not supposed to warm up much during the day. My nurse just left, she had to check my finger, I sliced it badly this morning so I had to call the morning nurse back again to help with that. Sigh.🙄

  5. It’s a good think you don’t chew your fingernails or you might be missing a digit!!🫣🤭😂 Is your tea pot a coffee pot all tuned up and ready for a week of bone crushing cold?

    • Maple hot chocolate is fantabulous! Tomorrow? Besides attempting to stay warm? Sorting out my bedroom closet is tops of my list. Then I’m working on an idea for hanging several of my pictures without putting holes in the walls.

    • Better than throwing darts at them.
Oh my, I’m tired tonight so will have to sign off and head to bed. I’m going to try and be here in the morning tomorrow so I’ll check and see if you’re around. Have a good night!😊

    • Yeah, fortunately I always buy ahead just in case I can’t get out when I normally go shopping. I doubt I will go shopping tomorrow although it won’t be quite so cold tonight, down to around -41 with windchill, -28 without.

    • Yep, that she is. There are actually several different ladies that do the cleaning part so I don’t know who will show up each time. The cleaning lady also does my laundry.

    • Yes, apparently he has given up smoking weed, but we’ll have to see how long that lasts. He said that before and only went 4 weeks before starting again. It has been about 3 weeks this time.

    • Yep, that would be nice indeed. Well, time for sleeping time for me, my back is bad and I need to lie down anyway, so may as well go to bed and stay there. Back tomorrow, have a good night!

    • Nope, that was yesterday, though I didn’t get everything I wanted, or needed. I forgot one important thing, sigh, so now I wait until next Monday. That happens sometimes.🙄

    • Well, tomorrow is going to be about the same as today, only I might do something different. I’m almost finished cleaning out the storage closet, then I want to repot a couple of my plants, actually there’s 4 of them since I just bought two more.
