  1. Tumble Rock is an interesting name for a town that has a haunted house, as they appear to go together. Your team of 44 is smaller than on the last case but still a large case. It sounds like you anticipate trouble, which is sure to come. Good that a number of the men are along including Rock. He seems to be featured more in the recent cases.

The haunted house sounds very large and is sure to be a center for illegal activities, hidden behind the label of haunted. George as a lumber yard owner is influential but is he more than that. The hotel owner seems to cow tow to him. That owner called the cats rats! What an insult!

That dog seemed to be targeting first Muffin and then Steve. Not a good beginning in the haunted house.

    • I am learning that some of these cases can easily turn more complicated than they look, so more is better. Yes, I figure that it would be good to have some of the men along this time, a little muscle sometimes helps. I think this case might be a bad one for us.

George does seem to be influential. Yes, I wonder if he is more than what he seems on the surface. That hotel owner better be careful, those “rats” might just bite him next time! Yes, the dog was meant to hunt Muffin and I, but since it couldn’t do anything, it was just meant as a warning for us to leave. We won’t be leaving. πŸ€”πŸ‘©πŸ‘»πŸ˜ΌπŸ•΅οΈβ€β™‚οΈ
