For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Hi everyone and Happy Sunday! It is cloudy and snowing heavily here this afternoon. We even had a bit of freezing rain and snow pellets for a while. Usually I show some flower photos on Sunday, but today I will begin to show some of our wildflower species for a while.
We have some beautiful wildflowers, though some can be small and some quite large. But even the small wildflowers can be very beautiful, though they are often overlooked due to their small size.

These beautiful bell type flowers are plentiful in our area. They are small, about 1/4 inch (6mm) in size. They are called Spreading Dogbane. An odd name for such a beautiful flower.
I hope you will enjoy today’s selection of beautiful wildflowers. Have a great week everyone and God bless!
