We are all back at the hotel now, where we are trying to relax for a bit before heading back over to Elenore’s house. There are 6 girls, 5 cats and Angel guarding her at the moment so I asked Sky to take Kitty back there and bring 2 of the girls back to the hotel for a break. Then Jennifer asked to go as well so that 4 of the girls could take a break since those 4 have been guarding Elenore the longest, so I said okay to that. They took 4 cats with them too and Sky will bring the other 5 cats back as well. Apparently there have been no problems at Elenore’s house while we were gone.

It’s possible that Swann will try to lay low for a while hoping that we will leave if nothing else is happening. Therefore, we will have to make sure that something happens. “Don’t forget about the plan to get you charged with murder Steve,” Friskie reminded me. “Hey, wait a minute,” said Jennifer, “I don’t remember that.” “Oh, that was something I told them,” said Venus. She was lying on the bed now and one of the girls was putting ointment on her many bruises.

“Friskie, you stay close to Steve at all times,” said Jennifer, “you’re his wife remember, so where he goes, you go. And I mean everywhere!” “But…” was as far as she got and Sky took her and Kitty away. Friskie gave a big sigh. Then Sky and Angel returned. “Jennifer said to bring Angel back with me,” said Sky, “she figures you need more protection than Elenore right now.” Then she disappeared, returning twice more with the other four girls and the cats. Celestine came over to me and sat on my lap and kissed me. “I’m so glad you were not hurt Steve,” she said, “or even worse.”

“Hey, wait a minute,” said Friskie, “he’s my husband, not yours.” “Well, you weren’t sitting on his lap,” replied Celestine giggling. Friskie sighed again. Meanwhile, back at the chateau. “A limousine and van have driven up,” said Dawn to Kat. “Oh, company, let’s see what they want,” said Kat. A man got out of the front seat of the limousine and Dawn called out to him. “Please remain by your car, state your name and business,” she said, “no one else is to get out of either vehicle until proper identification is given. This machine gun works very well, don’t make me use it please.”

The man gave his name and the name of his boss, which was Christopher and he stated that Christopher would like to come in and talk. Kat communicated this with me and Jennifer. “Tell Christopher he may come in with 2 others, but no weapons and no one else is to leave their vehicle,” said Kat. Christopher and two men came up to the door and were checked by our x-ray machine and no weapons were found on them. Then they came into the inner entry where Dawn brought her cat Ginger to sniff the “guests” for any other threats.

They were clean, however, so she led them into the library where Kat was waiting for them. “Well, well, Jennifer,” said Christopher, “it has been a while since we last saw each other, just before you ran away.” “I don’t recall running,” said Kat, “I just left, I don’t need to run from you.” “Is that so,” he replied, “do you remember this ring?” He then pointed it at Kat, still thinking she was Jennifer. Kristina recognized it must be some kind of weapon. He was sitting on a chair and Kristina grabbed his arm and broke it over her knee!

He yelled in pain and she then pulled the ring off his finger, causing him to yell even more. “You made a big mistake wearing that ring,” said Kat, “didn’t you think I would recognize it? Now watch this Christopher.” Kat then split in two. “Like what I can do now?” asked both of them together, “Now I can be double the trouble for you.” They both laughed together. “Hello Christopher,” I said, “remember me?” “What? You, you’re supposed to be with Fiske,” he said, “he told me you had been kidnapped.” “I was in his possession briefly,” I said, “along with my wife.”

“But Jennifer is here,” he said, “how could she have been kidnapped too.” “I wasn’t kidnapped,” said Jennifer, “Steve’s wife was kidnapped.” “Don’t look so surprised Christopher,” I said, “you should know I can’t marry a ghost. Now, you will spend a lot of time in prison, or the grave, it’s your choice.” He then stood up in front of me. “You have nothing on me to keep me here,” he said, “and killing me would be murder.” “You are completely wrong about that,” I said.

Then I felt a sharp pain in my stomach and that is the last thing I remember. “You lose Steve,” said Christopher laughing. But Jennifer came over and kicked him twice, killing him. “Destroy those vehicles out there Sky!” yelled Kat, then she came to me. Kristina and Carine took care of the other two men, killing them both. Sky went out onto the steps and shot two lightning balls at the van which caused a huge explosion which also destroyed the car and all the men in both vehicles. “Wow, there must have been explosives in that van!” exclaimed Dawn.

Sky then took me and Kat to the clinic emergency room. Unfortunately Samantha was at the pool for her break so Jennifer pressed the emergency button, “Clinic Emergency, Steve Down” was broadcast around the chateau and Samantha came running. “Sky, take me back to Canada please,” she said. “Are you sure sis?” asked Kat. “I can’t help here, but you can,” she said, “I can be more help over there. We need to get rid of the others too.” Back at the hotel. “Well, did you get that Christopher man?” asked Amerie. “Yes, and all the men he brought with him,” said Jennifer. “But he got Steve,” added Sky.

There was silence in the room. “He is still alive,” added Sky, “now I have to go, that’s why I brought Kristina along, Steve might need my blood again.” She then disappeared, arriving back at the clinic. “Anymore news from Swann?” asked Jennifer. “Not a thing,” said Melanie. “I hacked into his computer,” said Akila, “but he hasn’t used it all day. On his schedule for tomorrow is a meeting with Gordon and another with W, followed by a third with Betty. But I can’t find anything telling who those two new people are and the W is likely Williams.”

“Hmm, that means he has gone to the city,” said Jennifer, “so that is where we will go, right now. Get in the vans everyone, except for those guarding Elenore and Venus. Friskie, you stay here with Venus along with 6 girls and 4 cats. Angel and Kitty will be with Elenore along with 4 girls and 6 cats. Why is my bag moving?” Out pops a little white head. “Meowy.= Me want to help guard Venus girl too, Cristy say it okay with her, I even have catpack.” Catpack is what we call the cats backpacks now. “Okay, but you have to stay close to Venus then,” she said as she put Snow on the bed with Venus.

Snow began to purr nice and loud. “Oh my, what a cute kitty!” exclaimed Venus. “And there are clothes for you in this bag,” said Jennifer. “Steve is going to be okay, isn’t he?” asked Venus. “Yep, he’ll be okay,” she replied, “he’s been hurt worse than that.” Jennifer decided to only take Sky’s Bad Girls with her, so that left 6 more girls to stay behind, so three stayed at the hotel and 3 went to Elenore’s house. Elenore was watching out the living room window as the three girls came up the steps. “Oh my, those girls fell down!” yelled Elenore. Angel jumped quickly toward Elenore as two bullets came through the window, hitting her in the back…

    • That goes back to a post way back when Jennifer first returned as a ghost, but before she had all her abilities usable. She had been captured by Christopher and he used her to help him in his criminal ways by controlling her with this ring, a weapon designed by our old enemy Toledo. Christopher didn’t know he was actually talking to Kat, she is Jennifer’s identical twin, and she is our strongest ghost and can’t be manipulated by such things.🤔👩👻😼🕵️‍♂️

  2. The enemy had plans to divide and conquer. They plan to hit each location. Christopher went to the chateau to kill Steve and capture Jennifer. There are snipers in the hire of Swann and Williams, trying to kill Elenore and anyone guarding her. Then they will be attacking the hotel room at the same time. They figure with this much offensive action from the enemy, the Investigators will be eliminated. Trust that any poison shot at Steve will be neutralized. There is sure to be a barrage of assaultive weapons used at the hotel.

    • Yes, they want to hit us fast and hard at the same time so it will make it harder for us to defend ourselves. Christopher failed his part, I wonder what will happen with the others? Yes, snipers are hitting Elenore’s house, trying to kill her and us. Good thing we can spread the ghosts around a bit. I wonder what they will try at the hotel? They not only want to kill us, but Venus as well, perhaps she should have been brought to the chateau as well. Things are just not going too well at the moment, we need to change that.🤔👩👻😼🕵️‍♂️

    • Actually I was wrong on the temp here, it was 41 degrees today which is not bad. Supposed to get some rain overnight. I’ve had a rough day with pain and I’m worn out, so I won’t be around long this evening.

    • Yep, and tomorrow is supposed to be 47 degrees! Plus it will be staying just above freezing tonight. Next week will be colder again though. Not much exciting happening around here lately.

    • Flooding? We don’t have enough snow to flood a puddle. We did have some nice sunny days for them, but then back to cloud. Official records show this winter has been much more cloudy than normal, and that actually began last fall. Oh well. Maybe we will get more sun in April. However, my plants are doing great, they are even starting to grow earlier than usual, and growing a lot too.

    • Yep. Could be. Always possible. Never know. Absolutely. Just might. Yesireeeeeee. I agree. For sure. Certainly. I think. But not too often, gives me a headache.

    • Yep, I figure in about 2 or 3 weeks, that way it will be an early spring this year for a change. We hardly have any snow and I bet we lost half of it today.😃❄️

    • This morning wasn’t too bad, but since lunch time things have been getting worse and worse. I had a new nurse this evening too and she doesn’t do massages. Sigh. This nurse is just a fill in when someone is sick, so she hasn’t been trained to do massages.😟

  13. I hope your regular one is back tomorrow. I have my earache back today, except it’s in the other ear!! I may have to go without either of them for awhile until this clears up.

  14. Yeah, I know. It’s either the hearing aids or it’s a flareup of my psoriasis arthritis causing it. I’ve been taking 2 Tylenol and 2 ibuprofen at the same time and it keeps the pain manageable.

  15. I’m sorry about the delay, I got a phone call. I went to the field today to start the shakedown of my most recent build. I didn’t get to fly it. I’m going to a fun fly about an hour away in the morning. So that should be fun for a few hours.

  18. From about 10 until 12:30 but it was windy. So I’m sure that didn’t help. Hopefully it will be better in the morning. I’m still taking the Tylenol and ibuprofen.

  19. Well, 30s aren’t to bad. Rest assured another warm day or two will be along soon. I heard it was 72 in my old area up there today. So it’s not far away for you!😉

    • It may not be far away, but it’s weeks away still before we will see that kind of temperature! Interestingly, temps just at the border can take 3 weeks to reach us. Sigh.

    • I think some eagles have come back, there seems to be more around than during the winter. Too early for other birds yet though. Geese will likely be the next to return, I did see two scouts, but they obviously went back south to tell the flock to wait. No bare ground yet for them. Yep, spring is on the way, I figure another month maybe. Well, have to sign off, early morning for church tomorrow. Have a good night.😴😴

  22. No, I did get some drops and they seem to help, but I need to do them every 4 hours. The side of my face where my jaw connects has a big bump and the ear canal is swollen. It hurts a quite a bit.

    • Sorry for the delay, I left for a bit to get things ready for tomorrow. I wanted to put some water aside for coffee and cooking.
      It might take a while to get things back to normal with the drops.

    I think I’ve finally made the corner on the ears. Still a little sore today but better than Sunday or Monday for sure!

    • I’m still here, but things are a bit mixed up around here with the sewer repairs in the building, so my PSW was late getting here and just left. She gave me a slightly longer massage this evening since I fell today and hurt myself a lot, just when I was starting to feel better.

    • Wet feet. Hmm, it’s snowing heavily again I see. The next couple of days are going to be cold again, then warm up on the weekend. A lot of up and down this month.

    • Yep, only supposed to be a couple of inches though, we are missing the worst part of this storm. It dropped a foot of snow west of us and it’s supposed to drop a foot of snow east of us tomorrow. 😬❄️❄️ March is normally our snowiest month too, although this winter December was.

    • Good idea, I like to save things like that too for using at a later date, except I always forget where I put them. I need to reorganize my brain again, and do some dusting too. Sigh.

  32. No, not running. Although it feels like it. I. Just worn out from spending so much time working on his plane. It’s good for me since it’s experience I can use on my next build, but it’s a half hour away and with the traffic here it can take a while to get to and from. Anyway, I’m glad to hear it’s warming up! That’s good. What we’re you doing today?

    • I didn’t do much today although I did go for a short walk. Very slippery out there though they did put sand on the sidewalks. The guy across the hall and his girlfriend had a huge yelling fight in the hall this morning. Apparently they didn’t get up early enough to make coffee before the water was shut off for the day. She was having a real temper tantrum. Amazing.🙄

    • Yep, he has locked her out now so she had to go back to her own apartment. Yeah, he did go out and get coffee, but only for himself! ☕😂 Then the lady who lives next to me was cleaning out her closet and had a big box and several large shopping bags of junk out in the hall this morning. I could barely get past it all😬 so I complained and one of the employees came to check later this afternoon but she said she only had one small box of Christmas decorations in the hall just briefly. It was about 3 hours!🙄😂

    • Yeah, tell me about it. Well, we made it through the first week of this sewer work. The management were here yesterday, going to each apartment and reminding people not to flush toilets or pour water down the drains. Apparently there has been a lot of that going on and it’s slowing down the work. Not to mention the poor workers getting unexpected face washes! 😬 I knew that was going to happen. With over 60 older people living here, some are going to forget!😂😂

    • Well, I need to catch up on my journal, there’s been so much happening in this nutcase hotel (called an apartment building) that I haven’t been able to keep up! They don’t call these apartments anymore, they are called units, that’s what they call cells in our prisons too. I’m beginning to wonder about this place.😱😟

  37. Yeah, I know what you mean. Anyplace can be whatever someone wants to call it. What’s wrong with the name it was given? It’s an apartment! It’s a prison cell! A unit is a measurement! Maybe we’re just getting old?🤔🙄

    • Yep, modern times. Prison cells were deemed too degrading which is why they changed it to units.🙄 Though I fail to see the purpose behind changing apartments to units. I agree, it’s a measurement. Sigh. Speaking of old, this old timer must go to bed again. Talk again tomorrow! Have a great night!😃😴

    • It has been sunny since noon and the temperature got up to 34 degrees. Might get up to 39 tomorrow, 36 on Monday, then the temp drops again for a couple of days.

    • You mean outside? Nothing but ice everywhere out there, it’s dangerous, treacherous, horrendous. In answer to your question, however, “no”. Yep, and the first week of April is supposed to be colder. We also are supposed to get some snow this week. Sigh.🙄❄️❄️

      Well, at least we’re not getting what they got out west, a foot of snow! We should only get a couple inches. Well, the last few years the snow hasn’t disappeared until near the end of April. It used to be the end of March. Sigh.🙄❄️❄️

    • She was here briefly earlier, but she was running late because she had to do something extra today, deliver meals to people in the building. So she will be coming back soon to take care of me.😊

    • Yes, it will be nice, especially since my back pain is extra bad this evening. Maybe I will sleep better tonight then. The girl last night, she just fills in when they need someone extra, didn’t know much about massaging. Sigh. The girl this morning, though, did a great job.😊

    • Yep, she was just here and gave me a good massage. This girl knows how to do it very well. Yep, I’ll be heading out to church. I just hope I’ll sleep better tonight. Actually, guess I should get to bed. Have a good night, talk tomorrow! 😃😴

  46. Hi! I need to say I’m sorry about not making it online last night. I was not feeling well again. My ear started draining again and it’s very sore again with a headache and stiff neck. Yes, I did try flying yesterday and ma f e one flight. I just wasn’t up to doing much.
    Anyway, I just wanted to let you know. I should be online tonight.
